Absolutely hilarious After the last month that even the most ardent tory will admit has been a bloody shambolic In one poll the Labour Party has managed draw level Yes they have drawn level Shambolic indeed and yet 40% would still vote for them. Don't know if that's a reflection on the opposition or the fact that 40% are willing to vote Tory no matter how crap they are. It's hilarious that so many were utterly cuntstruck by Johnson and now they're starting to think that actually he's worse than May, who was worse than Cameron, but all it needs is someone like Sunak and all will will be well in Tory voter land. It's like still adoring your favourite band from years ago ,getting all excited by each new release , only to realise after a few weeks its worse than the last one, but kidding yourself the next one will be better. The bigger problem was the unelectability of the opposition during the period of the Con Dems, Call me Dave, Chicken May and Bojo, whilst they have been poor the other option was unpalatable Ed Milliband and comrade Corbyn both the choice of the Unions, labour has to get back to the centre ground and ditch the far left for good these are yesterdays politics which are not fit for purpose in 2020.

Take this how you like. I do believe that people who work hard should be rewarded and not hammered for tax. But I’d be more than happy to pay extra tax as long as it wasn’t excessive if it meant getting the country back on track. What I do have an issue with is people who play the benefits system (not all there are some very genuine cases) and get ridiculous amounts of money for giving nothing to society. What I would say is I do have a huge issue with Is multi millionaires cheating their tax payments. So I guess what I’m saying is I’m on the side of your normal working man Don’t care workers on minimum wage work hard? “Hard working” and high earning don’t always go hand in hand...... That’s not what I’m saying anyone who works hard has got my respect. There’s lots of jobs where people get paid too much and visa versa. People on low wages shouldn’t get hammered for tax and in some cases like carers they should get more. My issues with those that don’t work out of choice not because they’re unable too and get a decent amount in benefits. I have massive respect for people who work there arses off for little reward when it would be almost easier for them to sit on there arses doing nothing. I meet a lot of young people who choose the second option because they think they’re too good to earn an honest living.

Most benefits are paid to people in employment, 0.7% of the Benefit budget is deemed to be fraudulent and the cost of benefit fraud is dwarfed by the cost of tax evasion. There are a few idle bastards knocking about who know how to play the game and there are a few cheats about fiddling the system and they should be stamped out but they really aren't and never were, 'the problem'.

An Opinium poll is a poll conducted by Opinium. And sovrinty is ? I think the definition of 'sovrinity' is "to attempt to highlight someone's stupidity, but only succeed in showing that you yourself are not that bright e.g. "Look at this idiot, he can't even spell 'opinion'."

Anyway, to answer your original question - Opinium are a market research company who produce regular polls to show voting intention at the next general election.

Flexible labour markets with zero job security, anti Union legislation and a deeply flawed housing policy has seen the in work benefits budget rocket. This is why no one has really bought this record employment bullshit. These are not jobs or careers, they are tax payer funded slave contracts in many instances. All the noises post Brexit indicates to me that wages will be driven down further as our only competitive advantage on the world stage seems to be as a low wage service economy. Something will eventually snap.

It's a fairly regular tactic on here: when you've got nowhere else to go, have a go at someone's spelling or grammar to try to undermine their point.

Meanwhile, I found this on Tory Peer and wife of Tory MP, now head of NIHP, Dido Harding...
1995 - Harding is appointed as Marketing Director to Thomas Cook. "Thomas Cook spends a long time contemplating its navel. It is in character for it to recruit a consultant rather than a doer". Harding takes the criticism in her stride: " It is common for consultants to be thought of as eggheads who don't know what they're doing. I want to prove I can do things before the label sticks".
1997 - "I am not ashamed to say I do not know the travel industry as well as my colleagues. But in a team I think I bring a new perspective".
1998 - when she was hired, Thomas Cook said she would look at the future of the business over the next five to 10 years. Harding leaves after four, joining Manpower as senior vice-president, strategic marketing Europe.
1999 - Harding leaves, becoming commercial director of Woolworths.
2000 - Harding leaves, joining Tesco as commercial director for value-added foods.
2004 - in interview with Guardian in 2003, Harding says she intends to be with Tesco in five years' time.
2007 - Harding leaves for Sainsbury's as head of convenience stores.
2009 - Harding leaves, joining TalkTalk as CEO.
2011 - TalkTalk incurs £3m fine from Ofcom for inaccurate billing. A further £2.5m needed in refunds. TalkTalk twice wins the award for worst customer service in the UK. Harding writes letter of apology to all customers.
2014 - Harding's old Uni pal David Cameron gives her peerage.
2015 - TalkTalk database hacked, with more than 150,000 customers' personal details obtained. Asked if the data was encrypted, Harding says" The awful truth is that I don't know". 100,000 customers leave TalkTalk as profits halve. Harding writes letter of apology to all customers.
2017 - Leaves TalkTalk to become chair of NHS Improvement, responsible for overseeing all NHS hospitals. She admits " I have not worked in health and social care before and would be the first to admit I have a lot to learn about the sector". Rejects calls to resign the Tory Lords whip while chairing a supposedly independent body.
2020 - Quits as Covid Track and Trace supremo (still waiting four months after being told of an imminent world-beating system). Appointed Chair of new NIHP to replace PHE. Matt Hancock dismisses MP's concerns over lack of health credentials, assuring ITV News that she has "excellent experience". Indeed, by her previous standards three years probably do count as a wealth of experience. With Harding on board, NIHP can now look to the future as confidently as, say, Thomas Cook, Woolworths or TalkTalk.
Hands as safe as Jack Butland's...

Is that the same Gravy Train that Bliar and his cronies ride on. How would Blair benefit from a Tory Gravy Train? Or maybe Dual Operators, you often get 2 train operators operating the same train on Network Rail. Same train, same driver, same staff, just different tickets. Either way the destination is the same.

Today's Torygraph front page covers the possibility of Sunak's plan to raise taxes to cover the coronavirus debt hole.
It says a rise from 19 to 24% for corporation tax would raise an additional £17bn per year. How could it though if we're constantly told that to raise taxes brings in less revenue?
