A peer club wins three points on a day we get battered. How is that funny exactly?

Quit blaming peer clubs for our own inabilities. Itâs tiresome as fuck. We should beat Watford on our own to be the better peer if we canât and or are equals then so be it. Take some responsibility ffs.

Watford are a smaller club than us but have invested better. Challibah was a great signing and looking to the future. That said they lost 6-0 to Man C so they too have bad days.

That still doesnât explain the limp wrists when it comes to âpeerâ clubs. Good for them excelling and making the league better. It also doesnât excuse our inabilities. Watford are a good side and are not our âpeerâ atm if you go by the same table, Huddersfield is more our peer at the moment.

Both teams got 3 points against them, they aren't going to be in a relegation battle and neither are we hopefully, I don't see the problem with enjoying seeing Arsenal lose, we should worry about our own results not others.

Exactly. Too much fluff over others as if itâs the last match week or something. Sheesh.

Wenger will be moaning about the pen too For those wishing our "peer" clubs lose...we should concentrate on our own performances and results...then it wouldn't matter (but I hope Leicester lose - every week )

This pathetic obsession with Arsenal is borderline ridiculous now.
On a day we get absolutely panned we have some clowns laughing at the fact that one of our peer group teams picks up 3 points against a top 6 team.
Everyone enjoys the pantomime for the 1 game of the year when Wenger comes to town but Christ, let it go.
The away fixture is another to watch from behind the sofa.
The Watford result is a bad result for us and I personally hope that Arsenal beat every single team from the top 6 below apart from ourselves as it helps us!

Yeah I have. Enlighten me, what am I missing. If you don't understand why it's bad for us that Watford have beaten Arsenal today, then I can't really help you. I understood what you meant. But let's be honest it's still funny to see Arse beaten in that manner. If we deliver against the teams who are our "peers" as we should it's all good. We beat Arse, Watford beat Arse. Now we have to beat Watford. Something well within our capability.

More of the same pending the January window and an easier run of games for the side.
