Us losing today will have no bearing on our season,we lost 3 points which even the most ardent Stoke fan expected.Win week it will be forgot lose next week and the calls for MH to go will get louder.MH is now under pressure to start winning against teams around us,is honeymoon period is over.

Lets put to bed the theory that this result has any impact on his immediate future. When you turn up at a Harlem Globetrotter side like Man City as a wounded animal, riddled with injuries like we did today and make mistakes, they don't take their foot of the gas and send you to the Dignitas Clinic or phone 999, they get the shovel out of the boot and keep battering. If you have the temerity to put up a bit of a fight, they just fetch a bigger shovel.
However, longer term, today revealed a few things that may lead to his ultimate demise but perhaps they're for another day.
We're just as unequipped with four at the back as we are with three. Erik is a bottom three left back at absolute best. Our number 5 has the potential to be our most catastrophic signing of all time. Jesus he looks poor. Our best wing back is our best forward by a mile, the man we thought would step up to the plate in Shawcross's absence as a leader has just had 3 terrible games on the bounce. Have we bought him at the bottoming out of his ability?
And the least said about Ramadan's cameo the better. Protecting himself for the summer in October looking at some of his lame challenges today.
I'm convinced we wont go down but what a bag of unpredictable snakes in a bag he's put together.

The way Ramadan stood aside to allow De Bruyne (?)to bring the ball upfield for the 6th goal was a disgrace.

Fletcher looks lost all of a sudden and keeps giving the ball away.
Wimmer is just the biggest waste of 17.5M english pounds ever.
If the Imbula and Berahino signings dont finish Hughes off then this joke of a defender just might.
I cant get over how BAD he looks in a fast-paced Premier League game.
Get Shawcross fit quickly

Any more of them decent less expensive Egyptian defenders lying around @dr. Hesham? 😂

He should of gone in May. The May before this one, he is utterly clueless the signing of Wimmer puts his knowledge of footballers into perfect perspective, he wouldn't know a proper defender if he stood in front of him and kicked in his bollocks.

I have to say there are still so many question marks hanging over him. Wimmer appears to be the latest in his list of expensive flops. Early days but the signs are not good.. Add Imbula and Saido & Coates might to looking elsewhere soon. We still look unbalanced and disorganised. Yes Man City are a class above but we have taken too many drubbings in the last 18 months not to be concerned?

I think he will leave at the end of the season barring some magnificent (and completely unexpected) cup run. Any managers shelf-life is limited and I fear there are signs that players are either not putting it in for him or are not understanding what he is asking of them.

We should have gone for Marco Silva in the summer. Obviously, Watford's 6-0 loss to Citeh doesn't count.

We should have gone for Marco Silva in the summer. Obviously, Watford's 6-0 loss to Citeh doesn't count. I like the look of Richarlyson, that's who we should have gone for instead of Jesé. That's not a slight on Jesé, his mind is understandably elsewhere at the moment and he shouldn't be playing, it's not fair on the lad and it's detrimental to the team.

Man City have already battered several teams this season and we won't be the last. Reading anything into this result is just hanging preconceived opinions on a convenient peg.
It's the remaining games up to Xmas that will have a bearing on Hughes future - not the fixture list from hell we've started with.
We've been very unlucky with injuries to date but when we have had the first eleven out we've looked far better than last season. If a few of those clear up there's no reason why we can't start picking up points and move up the league.

In fact I'm not sure how often I've ever seen a better team against us in 50+ years. Yes, we made a couple of bad mistakes, and, yes, some of our players were made to look very poor against world class opponents, but I agree with you, I wouldn't read too much into this result.

Eight points from the first eight games.
I would have taken that at the start of the season.

A rather rude response to someone who was merely trying to correct your English. What's your first language?
