I dislike Leeds but would actually like to see them come up as it's two decent fixtures. Bollocks to Cardiff and Wolves though, maybe Derby or Forest or one of the Sheffield clubs to complete the trio that would be nice......

Leeds would suit me, although having lived amongst them for 30 years, perhaps I have gone a bit native. Wednesday definitely too would be good.

Got family over there who are ST holders and they're probably my second team. My Mums got a photo of me with John Robertson and Tony Woodcock with the European Cup dating back to when Cloughie used to do evenings at the local working mens clubs when I was staying over with them. Really nice bloke, liked a drink and in those days there were no shortage of people who wanted to buy him one.

I'd like Ipswich to get promoted. They've been very competitive at that level for longer than anyone else and are about due another crack at the Prem. Plus I've always found myself warming to McCarthy and he's done a good job there without the budget some of the others in that league have.

That's an unholy trinity right there. Two Welsh clubs in the top tier will create. A ripple in the space time continuum so unless Swansea go down, Cardiff can knob off. The ginger snaps are vulgar faux brummies who by all rights should be helping Vale to prop up the other 90 teams in the league . As for Dirty Don's lily whites, they deserve another couple of years in purgatory just yet. Not until every other team in Yorkshire has done its stint in the Premiership can their penance be complete - I think we've got both Sheffields, Doncaster, Halifax and York to go before they can come crawling back.

Plus when commentators, pundits, and other managers comment on how Sunderland, Wednesday, Leeds, et al deserve to be playing premier league football
I want to shake them and say at the expense of who? Stoke, Bournemouth, Watford
Our football system thrives on promotions and relegations

Leeds should be there really, big club! Only since the late 60s, insignificant history before then. They have the advantage of being a large City with only one team. There are bigger clubs than Leeds in the championship.

Sounds like alot of folk would like to set up re-election boards like they used for bottom of the 4th division in the 60's and 70's, except for all divisions promotion /relegation. Whoever comes up does it matter if you hate them? Only thing that should bother you is if its a good day out there.

Surely that's a tongue in cheek comment......a piss-take Made me think this "big club" not a "big club" debate. What is the definition of a "big club"? Is it a case of once a big club, always a big club, or is it a transient concept based more on relatively recent history? Is it determined by trophies won, by size of support or its "potential"? Just a thought.

Just a thought. A big club has lots of income. The amount of fans are irrelevant really to the size of the club Success does attract fans The shit and Liverpool are global clubs and have lots of overseas fans, Chelsea arsenal and Man City are going the same way Clubs like Newcastle Leeds West Ham and spurs do attract fans away from their catchment area. The rest rely on broadly their catchment area where that is diluted by the number of clubs in the vicinity. If the vale had never existed our stadium would probably be 10k seats bigger
