yep thats the fella - a proper footballer ( I thought) who, was told how to play in a 'lump it' team he offered so much more and on occasion - much to our managers angst, showed us what he was really capable of a real shame to me was that Never were so many bottles thrown in disgust over a player so good.

Wilson Palacios - looked a real beast for Wigan and Spurs and, at the time, an upgrade on Whelan, Whitehead and Delap. Alas, he was not the player we thought he could be.

List is quite long and quite a few did succeed;
Delap, especially after broken leg on debut Shawcross - obvious he was special Muniesa - seems so likeable Berahino - because success would mean 15-20 per season Hoefkens - just because

Paul Randall Seemed to be the missing piece in the jigsaw. Gliding across the Victoria Ground mud like a perfect picture of control, acceleration and balance. Twas exciting. What happened? Honestly cannot remember.

Gary Hackett. (Wasn't bad)
Tony Kelly. (Could run fast in a straight line but didn't do cornering,no one dribbled the ball out of play like Tone.)
Tuncay.(Tantalising glimpses of would could have been.)
Arismendi. (Built my hopes up that night in Valencia,just to crush them later....)

I think all things considered you can call Bojan's time at Stoke (so far) a success. A qualified one, at least. He was awesome before his injury and still had some very good games after. And I don't doubt his signing paved the way for more high-profile arrivals. Unfortunately, I very much feel he won't hit the heights again for us.
