I would tend to go for their top two in any race they have entered in. We'll see anyway, but they always seem to do well at Cheltenham.

One week to go gents. Anybody got any ante post bets on? I’ve got a nice one on getabird at 12s in the supreme, already offered a nice cash out but I’m going let it run now. Also mite bite in the gold cup. I’m down Tuesday Wednesday Thursday this year. Hopefully everyone has a good one and picks plenty of winners

I'm still nailing Faugheen & Douvan seeing as we're NRNB. They're both massive prices compared to the Henderson shorties, and Willie wont run them if they're not at their best.
Apple's Jade is the undoubted banker of the entire meeting. She'd win the Champion or Stayers if they'd run her in them, so she'll certainly win the Mares.
Supasundae in the Stayers & Native River in the Gold Cup - Although everytime I go back & look at the card I'm convinced Killultagh Vic is overpriced.
Jack Kennedy for top jockey, he'll have the pick of Big Gord/Giggy runners (Who've both got great chances of being top trainer/owner)

Hello lads, havent posted in here for years but used to be PenkhullStokie!
thought id pop on before Cheltenham and found my old account was banned! Anyway...
Champion Chase - Min 3/1 Altior mega classy animal but horses returning off 150 day breaks or more and having 1 one before Cheltenham are 0/128. Altior would have to be a mega beast to buck that trend and avoid the bounce factor. Min has had a seemless campaign bar one little blip when yard out of form at Xmas. Finally he got a proper pace to run at last time and settled beautifully. Hes a mad keen horse and needs that pace to show himself to full affect. When he was beaten by Altior in the Supreme as most know now he was injured, had a back operation and missed the rest of the season. Hes improed over fences as Altior has but the price difference is too much especially considering the seasons theyve had.
Gold Cup - Road to Respect 10/1 Djakadam, Minella Rocco, Sizing John, Native River all have no chance. Gold Cup a brutal race which nackers horses and ruins them long term. Don Cossack, bobs Worth, Long Run, Coneygree etc etc etc. The place to look is second season novices so Might Bite, R2R or Our Duke. Our Duke cant jump, even in a perfect race he makes 1/2 howlers, in the slower races like Irish national he jumps fine, but not at G1 pace. Might Bite has slight stamina doubts, he was idling/emptying in the King George and after his last 2 Cheltenham runs when hes darted out to the right, hes bound to attempt that again and you just cant do that in a GC. Hes done it more than once now so its not just a thing. Road to Respect got the Chelt form bolting up in last years Brown Plate and perfect campaign this year. Softe ground and no pace wasnt ideal when he was beaten but since came out and won the Lexus so easily in a top top field. Hes improving all the time and as had a perfect campaign, no hard racs etc.
Supreme - Slate House 33/1 Getabird has legs of glass, he hangs right on right handed tracks so hes gonna be very bad left handed. His front legs are fucke and i doubt hell handle the undulations of Chelt. Hes 5/4 and will be 5/2 on day. Kalashnikov is a monster on better ground tanking through his races, lost his shoe in Tolworth and then ame back when won Betfair. Summerville boy exposed, too many runs, handled ground better on Tolwworth day. One at Huge price is Slate House 33/1. Won x2 over course and distance, and so impressive in Supreme Trial when hammering Summerville Boy and others. Run at Ascot too free,no pace in race. Last run 2m4 and heavy, yard shocking form so forget it. Yard better form, better ground, back to 2m.
Of the other races; Cross Country - Tiger Roll 5/1 - Certainty, Elliots yard know it, Cause of Causes going but saving a bit for National. tiger Roll this race been plan since his win last year. 4 Miler - Duel at Dawn 33/1 - Dour stayer, wants this trip and been the plan all along RSA - Presenting Percy - "most talented horse trained in Ireland, if theyd let me id have everything on him to win RSA" was elliots quote last night. Hacked up last year and even though it was a handicap, put up better figures than Monalee, Wholestone and Penhill in the Albert Bartlett. Some crabbing his campaign but Kelly is a genius so is Russell. Didnt have hard race the last day Ryanair - Balko des Flos - 6/1 - Price going now with no Top Notch and Waiting patiently probably not going. Improved no end this year, won Galway Plate, and beaten 1l to Road to Respect in Lexus. Perfect trip and going well in JLT last year when falling. UDS id be massively worried bout form. Last years race was orrendous with 1/22 winning since and he was very tired ater the last. He diddnt stay 3m in France and id worry that this race is much better with Balko and Cue Card in here potential of 165+ performances.

Yeah it has but the ground is the same for everyone.
I'm on two horses for the SUpreme antepost and that's Kalashnikov at 40/1 and slate house 33/1. I've added Debuchet in there 50/1 5 places as his bumper form entitles him to be a lot shorter he's way over priced.
Arkle - Saint calvados comes into it more but still think footpad wins
Ultima - tipped coo star Sivola at 16s in the blog, adding single farm payment 7/1 4 places to that. Neck second last year off 2lb lower but would have placed in Hennessy and competiting in better races this year.
Mares - apples Jade wins but taken a stab at 66/1 on midnight tour and 28/1 without the fav
Champion - Elgin ew at 20s and Wicklow at 16s ew
4 miler - proper slog this lots of the classy types like no comment won't like it, two at huge prices shades of might dour stayer loves the ground he's 25/1 and tipped duel at dawn at 40s on my blog he's now 20s still worth a bet
Close brothers - hardest race of the day, speculative punt on Demi sang at 20s for JP and Mullins, form in France over further and 2m wouldn't have suited him last twice steps back up in trip, barney dwan the other at 10s both 6 places ew with Skybet

Coo Star Sivola hacked the fuck up for my antepost article at 16/1. Won with tonnes in hand, so much so he was so far ahead he idled and got closed upon! Midnight Tour looked all over the winner two out but again got nabbed late by Benie Des Dieux. Happy enough to land the two ew bets at monster prices at 66/1 and 28/1. Then it all went downhill, my two Champ Hurdle selections well beat, Duel at Dawn emptied quick and Demi Sang PU after a mistake. Barney Dwan landed some late ew money!

Next Destination and Min is the ew banker of the festival.
Take out Samcro and ND would be odds on, on his figures hed be favourite for most Supreme/Neptunes regardless and hes streets ahead of the rest. If, and a big if, Samcro runs under par like Apples Jade, or struggles the extra distance then ND will win. 4/1
Altior is coming off a huge break with just one run in between. Horses running after 250+ day break with just 1 run are 0 wins from 122 runs at Cheltenham. He will bounce, Faugheen bounced after winning the Morgiana off a big break and Altior will too. He's had the setback too which wouldnt help.
Dont worry about Ruby choosing Douvan. He chose Faugheen over Melon and said its because he couldnt bare watching faugheen/Douvan win without him on. Min is the form horse, hes the only horse we know is 100% and hes streets ahead of Charbel, Special Tiara and Politlogue.
Presenting Percy wins this and next years Gold Cup. Won over 3m5f on soft ground and won the Galmoy on bottomless. Dont listen to conections when they moan about ground. They moaned for weeks about his mark last year and he won the Perrtemps on the snaff putting up figures better than Monalees Albert Bartlett.
Monalee has no chance of staying, too keen and should be in JLT where he would win.
Chic Name a punt at 150/1 and Urumqi at 50/1 in Cross Country. Hobson buult own cross country course in his yard to prime Chic Name and he's only 6 with graded form in france and a chase run where beaten only 9l behind Buvuer Dair. Urumqi is best of the French lot, will love the ground and trainer fine record in these races just as good as Enda Bolger.
William Henry deserved fav in Coral, connections won it with Whisper off 153 when Nico was a claimer, now Bowen is a claimer on William Henry off 151, form been boosted everywhere, only lost twice over hurdes both to graded winner rated 158+. Graded horse in handicap.
Bumper, chance on Seddon 50/1 connections highly rate him and Carefully Selected got form on soft and stays forveer, 12/1

Arghhhhh Jesus!
Chic Name at 150/1 cruised into 2nd behind Tiger Roll then emptied up the hill to finish 5th!
Presenting Percy bolted up to land the NAP of the festival! Davy couldnt have given him a better ride!
First bet tomorrow will be to lay the fuck out of Un De Sceaux, no way he wins at Chelt without Ruby on!

Davy couldnt have given him a better ride! First bet tomorrow will be to lay the fuck out of Un De Sceaux, no way he wins at Chelt without Ruby on! UDS lay? Is he not the class horse in the race? Definitely. 1) Last years race was fucking abysmal. 22 runs from the horses in behind and just 1 win and 2 places. That's every horse from the race, shocking. 2) He was fucked after the last last year but nothing was good enough to close him 3) In France over 3m on heavy, he bottomed late completely emptied and was well beaten 4) No Ruby, Ruby is crucial, knows him so well, knows how to control him around Cheltenham. Townend a brilliant jockey himself but he's not Ruby. 5) UDS last 4 runs have been 171, 168, 167, 170. Cue Card in his last 4 has ran to 168 and 170(as well as a fall and 125 in Betfair). Balko Des Flos last 4 have been 146, 156, 158 and 166. He's improving and his form behind Road to Respect is solid. UDS is the best horse, the classiest, but on the ground over this trip and no Ruby he's worth a lay. There's plenty to take him on, Frodon, Balko and Cue Card are all capable of performance above 165 and two of them, Balko and Frodon are improving. UDS only needs to run very slightly below bar and theres a few who can win
