It would be a pisser if the Chinese government banned the broadcast of this draw. The EFL have done very well to mug this company off of the money. I mean seriously they think anyone in China gives a flying one who Stoke or Rochdale get in the next round? Half our fans show only the briefest of interests at this stage. A weird one indeed.

What is a Carabao when its at home? Thai energy drink. We'll need plenty of it to stay up for the live draw, if we are in it. While they're at it, they can also have the draw live for that other E something L cup over there. Probably best actually have a live Thai (woman) tie you down for the night to listen to the tie draw!

It's a joke. If we decide we don't want to win it this year I don't blame us

Yeah but it's good news for the people of Asia who have all been hanging out for an innovation like this for decades. There's a village a mile from the great Wall of China where they are self sufficient and take turns to milk the cows. They all say they get distressed by living in isolation but the only inspiration they have is maybe one day they can see the league cup draw in the daytime instead of having to get up and seeing on the web who Brentford might be playing. 😂

I am sorry but you must be one sad motherfucker to stay up until 4.15 just to watch a cup draw which you can check 4 hours later. They are hardly exciting are they. Hands up, yes I am, I think Cup Draws are ace, major part of the romance of the Cups. Love them on radio, along with Shipping Broadcasts they're by far the best thing for getting off to kip. I have a few on tape for this very purpose. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif) I watch them myself, if they are on at a reasonable time.

I think its quite good.
It's got people talking about and looking out for the League Cup 3rd round draw which normally passes so low under the radar most people are not sure whether it has taken place or not.
Time to start worrying when the Chinese sponsors start looking to slip a few Chinese sides in to the competition and schedule one match each round in Beijing which you could see coming.

Even if they wanted to hold it in China why hold it at the time they are holding it? They could have held it in the late afternoon or evening in China and it would have been during the day in England where, after all, the games will be played. Holding it at just before noon in China seems a bit pointless - exactly what is good about a morning draw from the Chinese (or Thai) point of view?

www.efl.com/clubs-and-competitions/carabao-cup/So the whole draw is not being televised anywhere not even in china? The cynical part of me thinks this is convenient where the draw could be a complete farse, with ties picked on commercial value.

there will be absolutely no evidence that the draw isn't fixed
If its not going to be televised, what is the point of it being in Beijing?

Since the sponsors are there I guess it's up to them. Football sold it's soul to money the devil long ago.
