Best mates with dean martin. Sammy Davis does a great impression of him. Think Lee Evans only better

Best mates with dean martin. Sammy Davis does a great impression of him. Think Lee Evans only better Him and Dean did have a big fall out for years when Dean went solo, but then had an emotional reunion late on. What a performer Dean was, albeit singer, actor , comedian ...he'd even been a boxer.

I used to like Lewis in the films with Dean Martin when I was a kid, but as similarly with Charlie Chaplin and the Marx Brothers I wasn't as keen when I've watched as an adult.

Almost awarded Mendicant a point, but he had Jerry Lee Lewis, and I am ashamed to admit, I have never actually heard of Jerry Lewis, always assumed they were one and the same. RIP Jerry Lewis...

Used to love his films when I was a kid and he always played the goofy, shy role alongside Dean Martin's worldly wise, smooth character. Jerry always got the girl, or succeeded in whatever he was doing in the end. Simple, clean, innocent fun.
He apparently also got involved in charity work and was the host of an annual telethon in the USA which raised over 2.6 billion dollars over the years.
RIP Jerry Lewis

RIP Jerry Lewis Loved The Disorderly Orderly as a kid, too. I must be getting old, but these people dying who I grew up with is affecting me much more than it used to. Glen Campbell dying really saddened me, for example. As you say with Jerry, a real innocence to his comedy, a bit like Norman Wisdom.
