Butland Zouma Shawcross Bruno Diouf Fletch Allen Pieters Shaq Bera Jese Can Jese operate from a tucked winger role type thingy? Where's EMCM!!?? I think because of his "lack of pre season" he will be left to the bench for at least another week. We have an abundance of talent across the front line now.

It has been mentioned that PSG wants 22 million and agreeing to that transfer fee is risky even if it was a buying clause after the loan and at the same time not including a buying option is also a risky business which means we either don't have much time to negotiate the buying fee or it was a take it or leave it deal. Some fucking idiots on here Why is it cringey? It's not, its brilliant! Also, didn't we 'AGREE' to buy Bruno at the end of his loan? Basically, PSG don't want him, nobody wants to buy him as it's such a huge risk. So what WILL happen is, if Rodriquez is a success at Stoke, we love him he loves us, we get to January, we want to sign him permanently, let PSG know we're interested in making it permanent. They talk figures... but no rush cause WE'VE GOT HIM UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON. So, we then get to the end of the season, perhaps he's been a complete fucking revelation and tore shit up all season, thus meaning bigger clubs may come in for him, but he's spent a season with us, we may well get first dabs on him. Stoke pay circa 20 million for him, PSG get what they paid for him. everyones happy. On the flip side, he's completely toss, another Bojan post injury, and we fight relegation and hopefully survive by the skin of our teeth and Rodriquez barely starts 10 games cause we just can't fit him in ahead of Adam. What you have to understand is that some people on this message board HAVE to be right. The argument simply has to be weighed entirely in their favour, whether it's writing players off before they've kicked a ball (and of course hoping to be proven wrong) or criticising the club's transfer dealings without having the slightest clue what problems they may have encountered in negotiations with other clubs, agents, players or other parties involved It probably hasn't even crossed their sorry, tiny minds that the player himself might not want to commit himself to a long term contract.

If we'd have signed him on a permanent transfer and he takes the league by storm he would be gone by neat season anyway.

You gave me a little chuckle. But on a serious note Ramadan's only hope is for Hughes to drop Berahino or play Diouf along side him. I think his only hope is probably Hughes getting sacked. Though given the fact we won't spend any money he may have to be replaced by Dario Gradi he likes the young ones allegedly. I don't see Coates sacking Hughes unless there is a huge relegation threat. Dario and the young ones. lol he is still suspended, right?

Sorry if I've missed this earlier, but how do you pronounce Jesé? Something like essay or exsay Thanks. Sounds more likely than 'Pete'. 🙄

I guess you don't know that a buying option is an option not mandatory including it in a contract means only that both parties agreed to such fee but they the teams and the player can always refuse to comply and go their separate ways as they have the right to first refusal.

That tweet is so cringey. A loan with no option to buy is the complete opposite of ambition. The quote in the clip talks about us not spending money so the club responds by not spending any money?

Everything I read or hear about this guy worries me. He has a rap 'career' he failed at Las Palmas he has a terrible injury record.Sounds like a classic Hughes going for a 'name' as they go downhill.Witness Bojan.

Good signing.
Struggling to see the ambition, though. It's a season-long loan without a purchase option. That's 2 major first team players we'll have to replace at the start of next season.

One up front clearly doesn't work for us and he's had more permutations then a littlewoods coupon to sort it but to no avail.

It's totally unnecessary and makes us look very small time. If the latter scenario that you suggest happens, we'll have it rammed back down our throats big time. I couldn't give a shit what TS say about us.

That tweet is so cringey. A loan with no option to buy is the complete opposite of ambition. The option to buy price was 22m euros. Maybe we should keep our powder dry until we see how things pan out - and then negotiate. Presumably. 'ambition' would decree that we agree now to pay the option price? Easy to make statements when blissfully ignorant of what is in the agreement we have signed up to?
