Doesn't make sense if we haven't got a striker coming in and another loss of creativity and we haven't got much in that department anyway.

it would be a very unwise move to let him go, regardless of what people's opinions are, if we're not getting anymore players in this window

Yeah it's a risk, we're still completely shot shy and the jury is firmly out on the attacking players that have come in. Someone else must be in the pipeline, surely?

Mental signing and when he thumped in that goal at Rochdale two years (?) ago, you just knew he was everything we had been missing.
Ten (?) minutes later, it seemed all over and while you hoped he would be the exception that overcame the injury and come back stronger than ever, it just never happened.
A sad, sad case of what could have been.
Still our player but doubt he'll feature again. All the very best little man.

One would hope so, whatever his failings since his injury (and I'm not convinced he's been that bad) he does still score goals and is probably the best natural finisher we have at the club, but we are not set up in any way to utilise his style and you can say that of many of the forwards we've utilised over the last few years. It's the loss of creativity that worries me more in some ways, with the loss of Arnie and Shaq's injury record we could be very short of ideas in that department.

I agree Hughes would never play him again but I think a replacement is necessary, we have built up a formidable defensive formation but with little in the way of wing back support, more like a back five IMHO. A central midfielder who could bring the ball forward quickly but not forget his other duties could provide some much needed drive to the team.

Totally unproven at PL though which is a massive risk Yes, but they cannot be worse than what Bojan was offering, which was next to nothing at times, easily getting the ball taken off him, not tackling and looking like a lost boy out on the field. Hopefully a season back in his home country could revitalise him.

Totally unproven at PL though which is a massive risk They will never be able to prove themselves until they are given a decent chance reality isd Imbula's attitude stinks and for whatever reason Bojan has lost his confidence crystal clear in the Rochdale game so move him on and if nobody comes in give these lads a chance we are solid enough and have enough experience and Afellay and Ireland back soon as cover . We will be ok but could do with atarget man type forward today
