Makes you wonder if this has any truth in it at all. That they might just want our Jack Butland as part of any deal. If not now maybe next season!

Unbelievable. People complain that the Arnie money isn't enough yet paying a little more for a player 5 yrs younger and with much more potential is too much? Okay...  I have two questions. Since when did I say the money for Arnie was not enough? I've said all along I think we got an excellent sum for Arnie, when you take everything into account. Do you want me to find those posts or will you just take what I've said there on face value? Secondly, since when were you a talent scout? Send your CV to the club mate. We need to know all the players with more potential than Arnie, pick them up for cheap. Currently, as it stands, Ox is nowhere near Arnie's level and seems to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder as well to deal with. The one thing he has on Arnie is the ability to dive and feign injury, suppose that's just an Arsenal talent. Throw in the fact we'll be dealing the Arse and we all know that with the prior animosity will add tension to the deal. 25 million.... Massive gamble. Massive. |

No top CL club would be interested in Arni, but plenty would take a good look at Ox. Why do some Stoke fans have such inflated views on the likes of Arni, N'Zonzi, Begovic? Of them Bego got as far as Chelsea's bench and ELC team. Ox is a young hot property, who makes a difference. Unfortunately for him at Arsenal he is competing with some of the world's top players to get in the first XI. |

Sign him for 25 million, tell Oxx theres a 35 million buy out clause in his contract, 4 year contract, 100k a week, we wont stand in his way if a 'huge' club (not West Ham) came in for him. BUT, we have huge ambitions, we want to break into that top 6, we think you can help us get there. Heres a lorry load of money.

The only possible reason I could think of is that he wants to just play football and realises how important this season is for next year's World Cup. Other than that, he'd have a massive list of teams after him surely. I wouldn't put it past him to play abroad either, he seems bright and keen enough.

Really don't think there are many.
It may be, in the end, he relents on the games bit to stay at an elite club.
But, if he doesn't, teams like us will probably be in the mix.
But it does look like games are important to him as he's batting away a comfortable £100k-a-week as a fringe player at Arse to look for something else - and that something else won't be available at any of the other big clubs where he'll be in the same boat
