He's left Spandau Ballet. That's a good job for someone. Anyone going to apply?

I went by train from London Waterloo to the England v Columbia match in Lens, France in the 1998 World Cup, England won 1-0 courtesy of a David Beckham free kick. Anyway the point is Tony Hadley was in the same train carriage as us on the way back. He seemed like a fairly grounded and decent fella.

Saw him do a solo gig at the Wedgwood Rooms in Southsea years ago, he was absolutely superb, phenomenal voice.

I play in his charity golf event in Peterborough each year. He isn't a golfer but hacks his way round and doesn't take himself or the event too seriously. His wife turns up and pitches in to help too. They raise a lot of money.
Top bloke.

To cut a long story short, my instinction told me he'd split some time ago. Communication error, now I know its true.

Great game but it was 2-0 mate. Darren Anderton got the 2nd.

After gigs in the 80s Spandau Ballet often used to drink the bar dry.
