Is Murph referring to your football prowess Chuffed, or "something else" ? (**Gasp**) Why I do declare! The football, of course, Dees! Mind you, I never mentioned the intriguing sort-of 'metallic rattling' noise the ref's microphone always picks up when we all break into a sprint...... sounds a bit like ball bearings.... "still trying to work out which one of us it's coming from....." The thought neverof crossed my mind that it could be anything but the football Murph, honest ! I've heard the metallic rattling when Chuffed breaks into a "sprint" as well - sounds like he's stopped taking his daily glass of WD40 !

Glad to report that the rattling is being kept to a minimum by the liberal use of 3 in 1, WD40 and plenty of horse linament, the latter stinks a bit but seems to do the trick. On the plus side any potential rust issues are kept to a minimum in the ball bearing department. 🙂👍

Always willing to go with the flow of happenstance I was contemplating the missing dice dilemma when one of my brothers turned up at the chateau with what he considered kindling. Deep in Equinoxal prep for the burns his good turn provided nice 1"x1" baton. Perfect Die making material. So I've been planning out bespoke dice which better reflect the Score, type of goal, Rating and Disciplinary aspects of the 'game'.. My brother, wood provider, went through a teenage Villa Park {Peter Whithe} phase... In light of my assertion that if EEFC were to 'play' in the Prem then we would play in the Villains stead {lowest placed surviving Midlands team etc} and then the fact that we've only gone and drawn them in the LCup etc etc
Seems appropriate, if not fated that there'll be a roll of the dice, turn of the cards... EEFC vs Aston Villa on thursday... Simultaneousish with the real match...
If we win we'll knock them out of the Prem, take their birth and I'll have to expidite the fashioning of the bespoke Dice.... High stakes..
Ohmmmm CoYMee
Might be a 7 a-side or such while enthusiasm is guaged, team picked etc... etc...
Thursday, 1/10/20 full Harvest Moon... EEFC vs Aston Villa..

We buy the industrial size, in a 200-gallon vat. Use it on the portcullis, and Vlad reckoned that if it hadn't been for our magnificent mechanisms in most marvellous medieval (good-as-new) order we would have lost the drawbridge altogether during Storm Gavin earlier in the year. His quote, in a Russian accent: "Splash it on all over."

Heading technique has given way to a more complex feet based programme which should hopefully be useful. Those new mahogany dice sound like real winners. COYMEEFC.

Welcome to the team, Badger. Us two flanking the inimitable Pearo: them Villians will think they're playing against a brick wall.
Speaking of which, I shall be reverting to something that contributed to previous successes - as it's the Villains, I shall be playing in a broad arrow top. Complete with ball & chain which, if things aren't going so well, will be used in a whirligig fashion at ankle height to take out any Villian dumb enough to come within 3 feet of me.
In other news, I have a job interview on Friday afternoon. Huzzah ! Didn't expect to get one so quick, to be honest. As I've not had a job inteview for 11 years, I shall have to hone up on some interview techniques. And as I've not worn my suit for a decade either, I might have to do the inteview in the previous day's broad arrow strip. Ought to provide a discussion point.

Excellent news Q, don't worry about the suit it'll fit like a glove (boxing) after your intensive training. Our midfield will certainly be impenetrable. Do everything you can to make badger feel at home, keep it positive!.👍

Afternoon all, thanks for the kind words and I can’t wait to get started. Rejuvenated after 6 months on the sidelines. Treating myself to some fodder at the Swynnerton Arms shortly as part of a balanced training regime. Went and decorated my mums spare room today so a treat is in order. Nah then...... Home made Pie or summat spicy? Fancy the Creamy Cajun Chicken at the moment with rice, chips and cheesy garlic bread. Depends what pie is on I suppose. Steak and Stilton possibly or Lamb and Mint suet pudding hits the spot. No desserts though until the Villians are put in their place! Oh and well played to get an interview Q! It’s tough out there, I have around 30 applications at the moment👀

If you're cutting calories by not having the dessert, you should have the cajun chicken. And a steak & stilton pie. And a lamb & mint suet pudding.
You don't want to miss out in case 1 of them is really special. And you need to get the carbs in. You'll be doing plenty of running about Thursdee neet, covering for me when I've gone awol chasing down a Villain that's upset me in some way.
P.S. I'm keeping my fingers crossed re the job situation for you. It is tough out there but it's not as bad as I first thought. I'd put in around 30 applications - had 2 interviews, both came to nowt. And then even without me knowing, 2 different agencies put me forward for this new job ... and the director was so impressed he's zooming me from New York to do the interview.

All taken on board Q!👍🏻 I’m actually going back to my roots starting tomorrow, decorating for cash🤣 Project Manager for the last 7 years but money’s money especially at the moment. Just need to keep that cash flowing and to be fair it’s more than I was getting as a PM with about 1% of the stress! So all good up to Christmas at least👍🏻 I’ll report back on the food later👀 PS a Zoom interview from New York😬!!! Smash it mate✊🏻

BLLLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDY HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ! Get 'er! I think you've finally been discovered, son! JD, during the video call (or whatever they call it) interview, make sure you've got your whole suit on, ie. not just the top half + jacket/shirt/tie. etc. This is just in case you have to unexpectedly stand up during the call, as it could upset the applecart a tad if big boss head honcho man in downtown NY suddenly asks you to get up and reach down one of the books from the top shelf --- this is a favourite ploy the conniving b*st*rds use often --- and it all goes base over apex with a glimpse of the nethers. I'm saying this because all of us in the EEFC team know how fond you are of secretly ditching the kecks & wearing a ballet tutu whilst you do video calls, but this might be one occasion when you should keep it kosher. Anyway, all the best of luck, and knock 'em dead! PS: Try to fit your computer with one of those CG gizmo things whereby every time you smile on screen a sparkly flash ricochets off one of your teeth accompanied by a 'ting!' sound. I'm sure he'll like that. PPS: "I’m ready for my close up, Mr. DeMille"......... ......... immediately springs to mind.

Skill like that is a rarity these days, man and ball in perfect harmony. Let's press hard in the second 45. Five months during lockdown of watching Ski Sunday downhill racing has actually paid off tonight - did you notice the way I slalomed around all the opposition players from our 6 yard box all the way up to about 25 yards out from their goal then unleashed a cannon of a shot into the top right corner of the goal ? I was knackered by the time I got that far and couldn't run any further so just closed my eyes and had a wild shot that fortunately went in, it could just as easily have ended up in row Z - Gary Lineker already calling it Goal Of The Season ! Let's keep it going in the second half and hopefully get another couple of goals and bring home the three points !

The first half managerial error of judgement in omitting The Badger and only fielding 10 men was rectified second hafe... Nevertheless EEFC couldn't make the new found advantage count. A goal a piece second half meant the tie finished 3v3. Assassin with a tap in from Chuffed's assist.... Pennos....

Wasn't your fault, Boss --- Badge was still in the pub and didn't hear the 'kick-off imminent' call - not too surprising, really, as after all it was his very first game. We'll keep a tighter rein on 'im next time out.
