"Let down by agitated fans" - what condescending crap - what if it was the booing that put a bit of fire back in their bellies to shove it back down dissenters' throats?? Why have so many turned into snowflake boo-finder generals trying to police thoughts and deeds deemed acceptable by the elite authors of the perfect supporter handbook.....
Booing at a football matches - whatever next??!! Get over yer sens

The way I see it is that it was totally justified. The fans rightfully vented thier frustration on the whole situation. Was there a gameplan? No.

I could never quite get past the sheer pomposity of the user name 'Fromafar' it made it sound like we were blessed with a poster from the Planet Venus but instead he is some miserable and hopelessly out of touch old scrote from the East Coast of the USA

At the time of the booing Hull could have had 4 or 5 goals. Granted Arnie should have buried a second when they weren't in it, however when he didn't they then could have scored a few!
Then they equalised and with the poor subs vs Liverpool still fresh people boo'd, especially when Saido was pulled off after being isolated AGAIN up top. Here he was bringing a player on that Saido could play off and he was instead hooked off.
I do not blame the fans for booing at all.

I didn't boo but to be honest there are that many cocks on here who think they are the superfan I sort of wish I had just to piss them off. It didn't seem to do the team on the pitch any harm and it certainly let the manager know what a hell of a lot of fans think about his inability to move forward rather than constantly reaching into the past.

I did fellah - although it was the headline that grated on me mostly - the snowflake stuff was aimed more generally at others on here wetting their knickers over booing at a footy match and trying to close down the debate on Hughes by way of insinuating disloyalty - thought police if you like. Cheers.

I agree with Smudge. I never have and never will boo my team at the match (and I have seen us concede 6, 7 and 8 goals in a game!). The clue is in the name - supporter. Yes, I will argue on here and in person about the merits of a manager's decisions or the quality of a player's performance, but at the ground we are meant to be the 12th man.

Just like raising a kid, you support them but if you applaud everything they do no matter how poor an effort it is you're not doing them any favors. Not about mindless support or happy clapping, you can encourage them to do better, let them know you are on their side, not castigate every little mistake and berate their failings - so, yeah, just like raising a kid.
