All these anti-corbyn posts are so disheartening. The guy is standing up for 95% of the country and all you can do is abuse and poke fun at him. He will claw back money from the multinational tax dodging companies and the 5% who use their money to tweak the system to suit them, to make our country more equal. If you do not believe this then you have been watching, listening or unconsciously absorbing sky, BBC, daily fail or s*n 'news' too much! They carry out this hate towards Corbyn because it means they get to carry on making easy money. Easy money from YOU. Remember them saying we're in this shit together and we're gonna pay the deficit down and then pay off the debt with what's left? (By 2015!!) What they actually did was give their mates a 5% tax rate cut. Then make your kids, your sick relative, your elderly parents and everyone you know pay for the deficit. With cuts to schools, the NHS, social care and insurance tax rises, while also borrowing more than all previous Labour governments put together!! They don't give two tosses about you. Not unless you have lots of money to line their pockets so they will line yours. The tories have a conference every year, where if you have enough money you can come along and mingle. Donate money to have a day or afternoon with a party official and tell them exactly what you want. Its extreme lobbying for the rich and you're definitely not invited. You say he is not a leader. But what takes more leadership? Convincing your party to stop being tory-light, grow some balls and stand up for people to make the country more equal. Or keep saying strong and stable over and over to anyone that even asks you the time? Keep unvetted journalists with even half awkward questions away, and god forbid having to actually speak to a peasent member of Joe public! All just incase, you accidently unvail your true incompetent one-line ugly inner Cruella de Vil Then again, perhaps not entirely new

Glad to know your not voting for the Conservatives then as they just look after themselves and bugger the country!! Talk about deluded. Were you happy with the way Blair and brown ran the country? sending us in the same direction as Greece? camerons conservatives were, are total wankers and personally I think Theresa May isn't much better, but, they are a safer pair of hands compared to the Labour Party......by a 1000 fucking miles. camerons tories have crippled middle families if I wanted personalshort term gain I'd vote labour. Unfortunately the long term suffering to come would not be worth it
Meanwhile im holding her to her word on Brexit, as to me this is what this election is all about Once out of the eu a new Britain can be built with new parties and new ideas not old failed ideas Just do it I reckon Lilfraise will be happy to fund the project for decades to come along with Master and Miss Felonious

Owadays;) I was more referring to the sausages my dad used to rescue from Shelton bar kitchens I had to be brought home from nursery most days at lunch because the smell of boiled veg made me chuck up Obviously at a younger age So you've always been a little......precious

Is it not possible to be against the reasons for war, without actually being pissed off at the soliders? If they fought in an unjust war, it's not the veterans' fault. Politicians send people to war - the soldiers are just doing their (very difficult) job.

Was the former Yugoslavia conflict unjust ?, maybe we should have allowed the genocide to continue unabated, I was there when this was going on if he honestly believes our military intervention even via the UN auspice was unjust he needs sectioning.

I'd like an interviewer yo go through one by one the conflicts Britain has been involved in and list lives and say if it was unjust or not... Korea Northern Ireland Falklands First Gulf War Afghanistan Second Gulf War Etc etc. Some of those are fair to describe as unjust, others certainly not. I'd also like to know what he'd have done in those circumstances - whether or not he'd invoke military action.

linkWithout a doubt there is a behind the scenes coalition, both informal but with some formal channels and liaisons, and including EU players determined to undermine Brexit and put us in our place...for me, the saddest thing is that the Labour party is playing the game to the mediumn and long term disadvantage to our country and children.

In a recent interview she said her campaign is paid for by crowd funding. 25 grand of it came from Branson. Some crowd.

Corbyn isn't really a fan of the EU. Globalisation and anti-Russia. Much easier to attempt his socialist project in a single country. He's not a Leader and definitely not an International Statesman. I suspect he's quietly happy with Brexit.

Well here he is not singing the National Anthem at the Battle of Britain Service 2015 and that's from the war that he did think was just. The service wasn't discussing the political decisions of the past it was commemorating the dead service men and women. Attachment Deleted

Some years back I was in Brussels talking to a man who has subsequently become a friend ( one of those for various reasons you cannot see as often as you would like) who worked very high up in the EU in his field ....infact he was the top man.One of the nicest people you could ever meet, extremely clever but equally modest, genuine, could not do enough for you. This was before the referendum was even promised. He was obviously firmly committed to the project ( the term remainer was not needed when I last spoke to him) and we have had many interesting debates...One thing always struck me....he used to say in simple way ( not threatening)..."Britain wont be allowed to leave the EU"...he just seemed to imply something, did not elaborate, but seemed confident in it, in a matter of fact sort of way.

In some ways Roger I think the opposite .I believe that Labour ( and the Greens, and Lib Dems) are prepared to sacrifice out democracy in that the ( apiarent) strong socialist grouping in the EU will deliver what they never could in this country...and the decision is based on political short term expediency. Corbyn himself does have a problem.. Never expecting to be leader he could stick to his Bennite principle of Leaving based on democracy, he now has other problems trying to 'please ' different factions....so much so that no matter how good the policies might seem being on the wrong side of Brexit, he and the party are fatally doomed

Corbyn isn't really a fan of the EU. Globalisation and anti-Russia. Much easier to attempt his socialist project in a single country. He's not a Leader and definitely not an International Statesman. I suspect he's quietly happy with Brexit. In some ways Roger U think the opposite .I believe that Labour ( and the Greens, and Lib Dems) are prepared to sacrifice out democracy in that the ( apiarent) strong socialist grouping in the EU will deliver what they never could in this country...and the decision is based on political short term expediency. Corbyn himself does have a problem.. Never expecting to be leader he could stick to his Bennite principle of Leaving based on democracy, he now has other problems trying to 'please ' different factions....so much so that no matter how good the policies might seem being on the wrong side of Brexit, he and the party are fatally doomed I find it quite interesting. Terms like "fatally doomed" have been used quite a lot about Corbyn's Labour recently, not least by myself. But I've come around to Momo's and Stockportstokie's viewpoint that Corbyn's direction is the correct direction for the Labour Party. Paradoxically I think the 'glory years' of Blair's administration was a poisoned chalice for the Labour Party. It was unsustainable to continue a very centrist path by Blair and somehow appeal or try to appeal to the original further Left beliefs. The whole Cool Britannia and champagne socialism thing not only alienated traditional voters but detached the Labour Party from it's core ideals. The feeling of Labour winning landslides was like crack cocaine until you realise the upside would come with a far worse downside. I think Newton's third law applies to politics as it does to nature. Blair's landslide victories were so seismic that the reaction has to be Corbyn to correct the pendulum swing. Labour can't sit in the middle ground of politics because that's not their natural place, their raison d'etre is not the Third Way. The Lib Dem's are a (very) minority party no matter what history or Farron tells us. 8% of the vote in 2015 and only 8 seats out of 650. With the Conservative's dominant and heading for a sizeable majority the idea of a 'new' party will appeal to many but that won't be Corbyn's Labour party.
