Why would any right-minded person want to denigrate a news service that is based on fairness , accurate reporting and professional journalism ? OK you might not appreciate the editorial tone but you have to respect the newspapers core values . I mean how stupid would you have to be ?

Catching up on the Andrew Marr show from yesterday, looks like John Mcdonnel admitted that labours promise on scrapping University fees now was 'only an ambition' and they would now only 'see what they could do' surely not telling lies to get all those young voters on their side ....

He's not said anything wrong there, the promise was to stop tuition fees from September, and he added they would 'look for ways to ease the burden' of those who had been to uni before. But they say that would be expensive and difficult. Source article

But they say that would be expensive and difficult. Source articleCan't tell me that that policy wasn't a con....loads would have believed and voted labour on it They said that they'd stop tuition fees, and then said they'd try and help people who had been to uni before. That last bit was never in their manifesto, it was just mentioned when asked in the TV debates. It's only a backtrack if they said they'd do it, and they didn't.
