West Brom, Watford and West Ham have some tough games
Southampton have 2 games in hand so should stay ahead of us
We now have a string of games we can get something out of
Then things can take care of themselves at the end of the season one way or another

I need us to finish above Watford.
I've got 40 quid riding on it with a Watford fan at work.

Only 5 points behind West Brom! shows how awful the league is this season, and how much of a missed opportunity it was!

We'll finish with 48 points. Whatever position that gets us, it won't alter the fact that its been a disappointing season.
As disappointing seasons go though, it really isn't that disappointing.

Agree but I am just bored of the analysing of it all, which includes myself. Just want to go in to the remaining games and enjoy them Then Mr C can make whatever decision he will at the end of the season

We will finish tenth. Not ahead of WBA, but above Watford. And yes we should be looking to enjoy the remaining games, both West Ham and Arsenal games perfectly winnable and points also to flow from 2 of the 3 away games, hopefully starting at Swansea next weekend as its a very long way to go. My first visit to the Liberty, hope there is a warmer welcome than at the old Vetch Field!

As DaveJohnno1 says above "as disappointing seasons go though, it really isn't that disappointing"

We could be one of the top ten teams in the country for a fourth successive campaign - and it's dissapointing.
How times change!

I have no idea how Watford are ahead of us. Every game I've seen them in this season they've been beyond dreadful and their manager looks a rate nutter.

They were shit in all of them even the wins. The bottom half of the league has been filled with shit performances. I think at the end of the season fans of a lot of teams will be satisfied with the placement but disappointed with the performances.

the only disappointing thing for me is not having a cup run. i am hoping for a strong finish to the season then maybe we can carry that into next season. i like tothink we can get something from all our remaining games and that should see us comfortably in the top half.

Only 5 points behind West Brom! shows how awful the league is this season, and how much of a missed opportunity it was! I never get this 'angle'. The big boys are better than the rest as is usually the case, but the only 'awful' team are Sunderland (Maybe Middlesbrough, but it's harsh to judge them as such seeing as it's their first season at this level for ages) The rest of the league are all just capable of beating eachother, which means teams will go on good & bad runs, win some games easy & get ideas above their station, lose other games they think they should be winning & it's suddenly the end of the world. It's football, it's what happens at this level, we really need to get used to it... The league is so 'awful' that a team below us are in the quarter finals of the Champions League.

The teams below Spurs are either woefully inconsistent, just woeful, or have a squad no better than ours! The teams below West Brom have been generally shocking, especially defensively. Leicester and Watford were fighting the drop, and we've ended up around them! with the teams this season, we should be comfortably 8th at least.

We're gonna finish 9th-11th and we will next year as well. No point getting worked up if we lose a game, we're a safe bet.
