An open question here but is it fair on Imbula to bring him in from the cold and expect him to hit the ground running in a game we need to win? It's got to be Charlie for me as he's the more match fit of the two. You could be right. The recent ivs with Hughes could be interpreted as getting tomorrow over and done with {hopefully maximum points} and the rest of the season used to integrate {or not} Imbula {and perhaps a couple of the uninjured youth}. May be seen as too much of a risk to start Gianelli tomorrow. Hughes also talked about the importance of containing their width, wing backs perhaps? Dunno. Tales of the Unexpected. I read the cancelling their wings as more likely a 442 Annoyingly.

It was exposed second half Liverpool when they went three at the back {and brought on quality}, over ran the midfield. We havn't done too badly with it, and have created chances with it. Can't quite decide whether it's the best way to get Saido firing or whether how we play it creates his isolation/unproductiveness. I may be wrong but it seems how it's being executed it's not a million miles from the 4231 thing with Saido dropping deeper. Obviously games are often fluid, and we adopt different shapes for different phases. Long winded way of saying I'm not entirely against it. Wonder if {without Allen} a 433 with Saido may be even more isolating, and if Arnie and Shaq get close to him it leaves us exposed out wide? At their place we had a midfield three of cameron {deeper}, Whelan and Allen {0-2}. Can't recall the Cup set up, maybe Cameron, Adam, Afellay... and Sobhi.{battered them but lost}. They're a different proposition. Really don't know how to call it.

That's bollocks too But, is he really any worse than the rest of midfield? You don't need to answer because for me he's the most professional out of the lot Not world class but we are Stoke not Barca ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/cj7bsBj2jOTuEAUVaPt5.gif) Just don't understand supporters constantly looking for a player to blame for our woes Especially when the players around that player are no better and some even worse He's as shit as the rest. He's just a lot slower, fatter and unfit than them. A disgrace to his profession. So our fourth ever highest Premier League goalscorer and provider of most assists this season despite being a bit part player for most of it is a disgrace to his profession. Fuck me. What must you think of some of our other players?!

Adam or Imbula?
It's not even a contest is it?
As poor as Adam has been recently he is in a different league to Imbula simply because he actually tries when he's playing.

If Walters isn't fit to play, we could FINALLY see the Sobhi-Shaq-Arnie line behind Berahino unleashed
Chucking in Imbula might be a throw of the dice too far on the day, so almost certain to be Charlie.
Interesting to consider whether what formation we play rests on Walters' fitness? If he's fit, 4-4-2 with him alongside Saido. And, if he's not, would Plan B be Shaq as the No.10 or starting Crouch or Diouf up top?

Meanwhile our record signing will be sitting on his bone idle useless arse collecting upwards of £60,000 a week, it is a total disgrace.

![::)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/cj7bsBj2jOTuEAUVaPt5.gif) Jesus fuckeyed Christ. What a complete load of old bollocks It isnt though. He is shite. What does he do well on a football pitch? He cant pass, tackle or run. He is extremely selfish in his play, often shooting when other players are better placed. When was the last time you came away from a game thinking 'Charlie played well today'? The 6-1 against Liverpool? He has been woeful since that date and gets away with so much less criticism than he should get He has scored just 2 goals, one of them a penalty, in the league since the start of last season! That is 44 games that he has featured in, for someone who people praise for his attacking play. He is also a fan of 'Mrs Browns Boys'. He should have been got rid of last summer. ![8-|](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/rY_vRFLA3mqqdMbEG4cF.gif) Yes, all the others in midfield are really showing him up aren't they
