But he doesn't sound too sure what's going on.Are they backing him or allowing the season to peter out in preparation for the new man?.?.
----------- Stoke are continuing their global search for a new striker but manager Johan Boskamp admits finances are making deals difficult.
With top-scorer Sambegou Bangoura away on African Nations duty with Guinea, the Potters are struggling to find the net.
On-loan Blackburn man Paul Gallagher has hit seven goals in the league but Boskamp is still looking for reinforcements.
He said: "There is a possibility of bringing another striker in but the problem is down to money. If you see we will have two people at the African Nations Cup and we're looking in Europe and in England.
"But the problem is we will have to pay money to bring players in. I can only give the names then it's up to the people upstairs.
"It's been the same for us the last few weeks and the people must think I'm crazy because I talk about the same things after every game."

Can't help but feel that if they were prepared to back him with new players, despite the Rudge stand-off,we would have seen a sign earlier in the transfer window. Looks like they've washed their hands of him,and are saving their funds for the summer?.
