Team/score predictions? For me: Grant Bardo Shawcross BMI Pieters Cameron Allen Whelan Ramadan Saido Arnie or Grant Bardo Shawcross BMI Pieters Cameron Allen Ramadan Shaq Arnie Saido But we'll defo see Crouch or Jon Draw/win would be lovely but I reckon it'll be 0-2. Worth a read re: Jose's attempts to nullify Chelsea yday: www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2017/mar/14/jose-mourinho-chelsea-manchester-united-ander-herreraEdit: Could even go for: Grant Shawcross BMI Muni Diouf Cameron Allen Pieters Ramadan Saido Arnie as a three-at-the-back counter solution

He won't drop Walters - I can see a very similar set up as against Man City, at least to start with. Shaq may have to wait as he is a stranger to the need to track back and work hard off the ball as much as is needed against the top teams.

Arnautovic for Diouf will be the only change I think....

I expect MH will rest Ramadan and save him for more beatable opponents and only use him if we need to equalize. I expect Walters will keep his place or be replaced by Crouch. I expect us to try and contain and hit them on the break - useless with W / C attack.
I hope I'm wrong on both points and I feel Chelsea may have a hangover after last night's match and we can get a result.
The team that played ManC deserve to be picked again, but I think Arni should replace Walters and play more centrally between the lines: Grant Bardsley Shawcross BMI Pieters Diouf Cameron Allen Ramadan Saido Arnie
If we get behind, bring on Shaq and Crouch.
I'd prefer to attack and lose 4-0, than play 6 at the back and wait for the inevitable.

Did pretty well against them at Stamford Bridge, matching up with a back three {Arnie was suspended}. We caused them all sorts of problems, kept responding to any pressure they created with equalizers. First team to properly breach their defence. Conte shut up shop and we got undone with the quality of their counter and a bit of daftery from us. I rate Willian, he was their outstanding player in those last few games under Moanrinho. They've got brilliant back up but I hope Moses is rested. It affects their shape and I really don't want to see him have a stormer against us. No use going over all their talents. It'll only depress me. I'd put Joe Allen on the task of snapping at Kante's ankles. And would like to think Berahino will be able to twist Cahill's legs about.
BBC: "This was a brutal test for Antonio Conte's men.
Stoke were organised and disciplined at the back and threatened at the other end."
It was Crouchie who caused them the mither. SJW seems to pull out the gravy against Chelsea, and Adam's been known to give them the willies, Imbula too....
*me head exploded. [Hairy Potter not edited out for the added divisiveness {if that's a word?}]
Not sure what I'd do... match them with a 352 thing with Crouch and Saido up top {I've been impressed with his work rate, easily compensate for Crouchie's more thoughtful less rapid approach. Peter is a boon defending set pieces and stuff. He'd piss on Kante in the ariel duels. {fingers crossed}. Or do that in a more traditional 442 like we did wednesday. summat like.
Grant Bardsley Ryan Bruno Pieters Walters Cameron Allen Arnautovic Crouch Berahino
Dunno. I'd like to see us match up with a back three. Mourinho tried it in Europe last week, couldn't really tell last night what the shape was supposed to be, after the sending off, pretty much one way. A doubt though. I'm not overly convinced with our configuration of the back three at the moment, especially against the sharpest attackers. For me the best we did it was with Johnson Bruno Muniesa, I'd like to see Shawcross Bruno Pieters as the back three but think it would be lunacy to try it saturday {unless they're working on it.}
Grant Shawcross Bruno Pieters Diouf Cameron Allen Sobhi Walters Saido Arnautovic
would do me.

I actually think if we can get Sobhi in between Moses/Aspa Aspe Asph Aspu Aspo their Spanish Centre half as well as Arnie up against Alonso/Cahill we can cause them real problems. Obviously getting enough possession to do that is key, if we can't pin their wing backs in their own half for a decent period of the game could be a long 90 minutes. I've got a sneaky feeling we'll surprise them though....

Really looking forward to Saturday's game. Chelsea are in terrific form and have some brilliant individual players but it doesn't stop me from hoping we can get a good result. IMO we should pick our best eleven to face Chelsea. That should not include Walters or Diouf. Our players should be chomping at the bit to be starting and so I'd go with:- Grant
Bardsley. Shawcross. Indi Pieters
Cameron Allen
Arnautovic Shaqiri. Sobhi
Berahino

Moses out for 3 weeks according to the Transfer Tavern. Not the best of sources - but I hope they are right - he's been a key player for them this season.

Really hope we beat them surrounded by Johnny come lately Chelsea fans down here. Arrogant isn't the word. Last season was great be lovely if we could get something on Sat just think it'll be very difficult and they'll get a dodge to settle them down early doors.

Looks like positive news almost back to a fully fit squad for the first time this season. Shaq back and fit, Jack progressing well. Sounds like changes will be made. I have a feeling he's going to start Crouchy.

What the hell is up with Johnson again? He had a manicure and the technician told him he had a slight strain on his little finger nail so he's sitting out the next 3 weeks as a precaution.
