Read in todays Sun, old Ma Brady bragging that the London stadium has been branded in tip (sorry, top) 10 stadiums in the world! Where did they carry out the survey - Dagenham? Those who attended this year may be able to contribute their views?

see she's still rubbing it in that they got a new stadium on the back of the tax payers down here this is the biggest scandal in football how Boris Johnson and Trevor Brooking contrived to get the public to underwrite West Ham this will cost the public here millions. West Ham don't have to pay police costs, stewards, even the cost of a corner flag or football net all they have to pay is a flat fee you'll see over the next few years this un fare advantage will have on the league with the extra revenue they create from this stadium enabling them to buy better players and pay higher wages. The first casualty I fear will be Layton orient the nearest team to the Olympic stadium (now being wound up) the next will be the athletics deal as they are forced out by the damage to the track under the seats. Already the firm that changes the stadiums use has gone into administration and the cost of changing it from football to athletics has gone up dramatically what will happen next is that they will say its to expensive to change over and west ham get total control. In addition they get there old stadium ground to sell off and possibly key ground at Chadwell Heath (training ground) giving them the extra capital as its prime location the only hope is that the owners get greedy and take the money out and do a runner as they have the past form for doing this at Birmingham.

Impressive looking stadium but not fit for watching football. Worst ground in the league.

It might be an excellent stadium but that doesn't necessarily make it a good football ground.

The stadium resembles some scaffolding with a great big metal dildo object on the outside, notwithstanding the bodge job on the retractable seating on the inside.
I give it 10 years before they knock it down and start again.

There's no doubt it's a cracking stadium but it's a terrible football stadium..
I've always had a sort of soft spot for West Ham god knows why and I used to love the Boleyn ground. It was one of them intimidating stadiums with soul and passion but they've completely ripped the heart out of West Ham with this new bowl ground.
Most premierleague grounds are the same lifeless bowls with little to no passion. Other than Boleyn the only other top flight ground that can be intimidating I would say is Spurs but even they're changing the roots.
Same as Cardiff, ninian park was very intimidating used love going there but their new ground is terrible and lifeless!
Against modern football.

To be fair to Boris, he supported Spurs plan of demolishing the stadium. It was at other levels that deemed it unpalatable because of "legacy".

It's not even in the top ten in England let alone the world. Let's think in no rankings order Old Trafford Wembley The emirates The ethiad St. James's SOL White hart lane Anfield Goodison Stamford bridge
And I'm judging them on the footballing experience not just if they have clean bogs. There is at least 5 stadiums better in Germany alone the woman talks out of her arse. Pesch must have cock slapped her so many times she's gone loopy or she's got toxic shock from leaving the dildo bros extra value love eggs in her arsehole too long if she believes what she's saying there

It's up there with vale park for grounds I never want to set foot in. Not fit for purpose and the tax payer was bent over double to pay for the shit hole.

No there were a lot of other options for the site and Boris let it go cheap to west ham, west ham also insisted that the ground could not be shared with Leighton Orient the closest team to the stadium and the FA turned their back on there own rules of not allowing a club move into the catchment area of an existing club.
If spurs had got there way and demolished it in the short and long term the costs would have been cheaper and the cost to the tax payers a considerable lot less
the top tear would have been relocated (probably to crystal palace) and the warm up track (outside ground) expanded into an athletics stadium at the cost of spurs
The problem is too many big wigs support west ham and this was there way of giving them an unfair advantage,
what would you say if Port Vale or any other club was given this type of stadium near us and the club only had to pay a small percentage of the costs (even though it would bankrupt the vale lol) and we only had the old Victoria ground that we needed to renovate and rebuild at the clubs cost.
If you knew some of the politics behind this and the ODA you would be astonished at the waste of money that was accrued by them and some of the kick backs from the Olympics to certain people.(but that's another story)

London Stadium bosses criticised for spending by TaxPayers' AllianceThe body responsible for running London Stadium spent £100,000 developing a communications strategy for the stadium despite having three senior communications staff paid more than £260,000 combined.LLDC also spent £4m on legal costs in an acrimonious dispute with the core tenant, Premier League side West Ham United. That dispute was brought to an end minutes before a lengthy court case was due to begin on 12 December, when a deal was brokered between the club's managing director Karren Brady and LLDC chief executive Lyn Garner.Nice work if you can get it.

I said to myself after visiting it for the first time that I'd never go back. Imagine going through that experience week after week as a season ticket holder, the queuing after the game to Stratford station was terrible as well.
