Congratulations to Lincoln.
I normally get pretty bored with footy on the telly and start doing other things but today in the last few minutes even I found myself kicking every ball with the Lincoln players.
I was also kicking Joey Barton every time he appeared on screen. He really is the stuff you wouldn't want to tread in. Play acting like that against a team 4 Divisions below you. I would have thought most normal people would have been too embarrassed to try something like that. He deserves all the grief he surely has coming to him.

Fantastic result. Don't know how many changes Burnley made but it just goes to show how much VAT is added to some players in the transfer market.
The gulf between footballers isn't as much as the price tag suggests if you buy players who work for each other.

Early on in my career as a Customs Officer I used to be a VAT man in Wolverhampton and I have actually visited Walsall FC and verified their VAT accounts which included VAT on their player purchases and sales. But you've still lost me on the point you are making. VAT is levied (currently at 20%) on all sales of players between UK clubs - different rules apply to sales within Europe and on sales from UK clubs to clubs outside Europe. But the VAT, where it is levied, is a simple flat rate on the sale price whether that player is a multi £million player or costs only a few hundred £thousand. |

Are Burnley the first top flight side to lose to a non league side at home?
I remember Birmingham losing to Acrington but I think that was any away?
Burnley didn't make many changes and I thought their attitude was ok but they lacked quality.
