I'm sure most of you will give this a miss as it's 16 minutes long (And RRP will give it a miss 'cos it's that shouty man) But once again he nails it. Since the turn of the Millenium we've become pathetic.

Interesting. Full of moral complexities and conundrums for me. I'm against censorship, but would love to see a return to more Reithian principles in Broadcasting. Ultimately it should be about people making a personal and conscious decision to switch off or filter out the shite.
The comments about students are interesting, the nature of being a student has changed considerably since student loans and vocational degrees etc. Career focused rather than hotbeds of foment.
The internet/social media is both used and abused {don't blame the wall for the graffiti on it etc etc}. Provides access to loads of interesting and innovative stuff amongst the guff. There are subcultures and such that are challenging the more crass examples of 'popular culture' {see the campaigns for alternatives to xfactor for xmas no1 etc as a small example of the 'resistance'.}
As ever there's elements of nihilism in 'yoof culture', it reflects folks' prospects..
I suspect there are fewer and fewer people prepared to be duped, aren't accepting the 'opium for the people', 'drug of the nation' etc.
People are getting more revolting.

What an angry and bitter guy, just check out his take on depression.
His idea that popular culture is a consequence of "20th century onwards, post modernist, moral relativist, critical theoryist, and cultural marxist nihilists that have seized control of society" is a crackpot conspiracy theory that is just laughable.
Saying there's no/fewer alternatives is just complete nonsense, one of the good things about the age of the internet is that it's easier than ever for diverse people to get themselves and their views out there, you know, just like he's doing in the video.
Sure there's trash tv etc but it's not the reason the likes of ISIS despise the West and want to attack us, I genunely can't believe how dumb that comment is, and I can't believe that the 'alt-right'/right is lapping this shit up.
edit:
Just one example of the nonsense he's spouting is about the rapper dropping 'truth bombs' who is being kept down by those nasty cultural marxists because his message isn't one they want to put out to the masses. In reality he's a rapper who has his own record label and a shady business partner which is the cause of his problems, that and the fact that he's just not that good are the reasons he's not more mainstream.

The Drunken Communist your man Paul Joseph Watson aka 'shouty man' has actually come out with this on Twitter.
'Hitler is what happens when grievance-fueled social justice warriors obsessed with identity politics seize power. A warning from history'
This is the guy you continually promote as a 'bastion of truth', and yes he really is that stupid

You missed out his very next Tweet, Rick. "Literally Hitler!". He's trolling the far-left with their "Nazi", "fascist" & "Literally Hitler" responses to anything that doesn't 100% conform with their own views.
... And even if he meant it, does it matter? What is your point? Does it make everything else he says null & void? Does it mean because I agree with his opinion on some things; that I must agree with him on everything?

You can't blame Post-Modernism for the lack of originality. Originality has been beaten out of us by the Man. Anyway, I'm not taking lessons on the homogenisation of popular culture from a boy who shapes his eyebrowsXx

He might disagree with the far left and I can understand why people do, but by trolling and ridiculing them he's bringing nothing of any worth to the discussion. Instead he comes across as a sneering, attention-seeking narcissist, he's the opposite of the far left resorting to the same awful tactics. In the same manner that you find the tactics of the far-left unsavoury (and I actually agree with you on this) I also find guys like Joseph Paul Watson equally unsavoury due to the manner he's going about things. Can I recommend instead that look up the likes of Proffessor Jordan B Peterson (check him out on youtube) who is able to to criticise poliical correctness, and the current culture of universities, in a very considered and reasoned manner.
