What was interesting was that to a man, every WBA player went up to Saido at the end of Saturday's match to shake hands/high 5 him/put an arm around him. If he was such a twat as a person I doubt that would have happened. Give the lad time to get WBA out of his system and I'm sure hell come good.

The converse view is, that since SB's departure not one WBA player has commented on the move and wished him well. In regulated interviews, it may be that the club have placed an embargo on discussion. However, it is more significant that in the wider social media the silence is deafening. If you think there were no serious issues between the departed and the Albion squad you are living in cloud cuckoo land. Professionals do not take kindly to a kid who has a very poor training record, has pissed them off with his first 'I'm off to better things' speech and is wasting his undoubted talents.

Or how about your club has banned players from commenting on Saido Berahino completely, be that in the media or via social media. I couldn't really give a toss what your players think of him in reality but I have to say the end of game reaction was something that I specifically watched. There was the odd token handshake but many of your players actually embraced Berahino warmly. Regardless of what is or isn't said, you simply don't do that if you don't like someone personally. At the end of the day, however, its all irrelevant. All that matters now is what he does from here on in wearing a Stoke City shirt. Hopefully in games to come, he'll be able to ram the taunts of your supporters and the clear animosity of your manager right back down your throats. It should make for some pretty interesting and hopefully some pretty hostile WBA v Stoke City fixtures in the future.

I doubt it. He will be gone in a couple of years. Either to the scrapheap or stardom. I can't wait till he kisses the SCFC badge.

Yeah we pretty much all hated him...the football was dire Don't know if you've noticed but the football is pretty good now aswell as where we are in the league. If people dont like the football they will stay away....thats only natural which is what happened last season and some cant eat humble pie and return purely because they dont like Pulis like a lot on here. So does that mean we still have to hate him if things change?? or can people change their minds when quite obviously there is a clear change in direction and playing style at the club. Berahino might come good for you or he may have already wasted enough of his career to never get back to those heights.....what we do know as a fact is he will bring disrepute to your club and already has.

Toxic manager, toxic club. Really? Whats toxic about Albion?? Were not even your rivals.....youve drummed up this hatred to create a rivalry because you dont really have one. We as fans dont see you as a rival at all, infact you are as irrelevant to us as Oxford United are

Toxic manager, toxic club. Really? Whats toxic about Albion?? Were not even your rivals.....youve drummed up this hatred to create a rivalry because you dont really have one. We as fans dont see you as a rival at all, infact you are as irrelevant to us as Oxford United are On previous Fifa releases if you picked your club as Stoke City then your rival would automatically be Port Vale. If you then played an exhibition match it would automatically select Stoke City (Player 1) vs Port Vale (Computer). However, a few years ago this rivalry changed from Port Vale to West Brom. This all means that West Brom are our rivals because Fifa said so and you can't say fairer than that because as we all know, there's no smoke without the worm turning. In all seriousness though, if you're a West Brom fan and you honestly believe that West Brom fans don't see Stoke City as a rival, not geographically but in footballing terms and with plenty of animosity flowing BOTH ways, then you've been on the old showbiz sherbet yourself. As for us not having a rival, i think you'll find there are a couple of clubs nearby who we don't particularly get along with (Port Vale and Crewe) who are genuine rivals and also some tourist attraction down south.

Good post mate. Some but not all on this message board can't let things go about Pulis even though he's been gone 4 years. He has made his critics look like mugs on many occasions. Anyway as I see it SB could have got a dream move to Spurs. The club put a silly price on his head that even a club like Spurs were not going to pay. Maybe this changed him? Whatever the case he's not a Pulis type player anyway as he prefers big centre forwards so that won't have helped him.

We have a bunch of rotters who put themselves in a corner in November 2002 and still reside there!
