Toxic is a wanker. Playing the "I don't care he's not our problem anymore" card then going on in more depth about how The club stuck with Berahino through bad times and he should be greatful. Oh ah Tony.. the club that denied him his big move to Spurs, always the players fault.. It's all about Tone.. and if anyone disagrees you hang them out to dry. I hate the fucker for what he did at Valencia away. I hate him even more for his antics at our place last year. And then when I found out exactly what happened at Arsenal and 'towel gate' a few months back from a player who was there... It made me realise what a wanker Pulis really is. Roll on tomorrow. We'll have the last laugh I'm sure of it. If youre a Stoke fan you've got to be a massively one eyed ungrateful twat to hate Tony Pulis at all, simple as that. But that's football fans, never the most balanced individuals when it comes to their club. The bloke may well be a cunt sometimes and a great bloke at others, sounds like all of us really. But the ongoing desperation on here to find anything to continue a campaign of justifying their hatred for the man is a bit embarrassing. In fact it smacks of the kind of response you get when you've been dumped and instead of your ex being a miserable loser they go on to do better! Its time to grow up and move on, haters!

Sadly the hero worship is blinding some people. Pulis did well for this club but people can see him for what he is.This talk of Berahino doesn't sit well with his keep it in the dressing room concept that he always spouts about. Strange that he is saying this just before we play them.Effective manager but a nasty person.

If he shit on a stoke shirt in the centre circle tomorrow we'd still have tpfc fans on here defending him. I agree...some people just can't see him for what he really is......venomous and toxic are words that describe him quite well, as far as I'm concerned

This issue was designed to cause maximum damage to firstly Saido and secondly Stoke City. It wasn't an accident that this was leaked it was engineered. I hope PC comes out all guns blazing and hammers Pulis and West Brom.
The way I feel at this moment I'd take losing the next five games in exchange for hammering them today. Whether the apologists like it or not this has got one man's grubby hands all over it.
Give him loads today boys. I wished I could have got a ticket.

The hatred on this board for a Stoke City legend is sad and pathetic.
Dress it up however you like but the man gave everything for us when he was here. He's got a different employer now so move on.

This is his newest attempt.

Now, on the one hand, I think it's a bit paranoid to blame TP for the entire Berahino saga when most of the evidence suggests that it was somebody in the West Brom hierarchy. I think it's a bit rich to say that you hate him because of our games against him, when an awful lot of people had been waiting a few years to get a good excuse to give him lots of abuse. However...
What really aggravates me isn't so much that West Brom keep firing themselves up for this fixture and pull out every dirty, nasty trick in the book. The really infuriating thing is that we just lie there and take it. Pulis tries to play mind games with Berahino, and nobody at the club stands up for themselves and fights back. They spend 90 minutes winding up our players, and we just naively play into their hands instead of being a bit cuter and fighting fire with fire. They treat it as their cup final, and we seem to stroll onto the pitch expecting an ordinary game of football.
I don't harbour our any animosity towards Pulis, but I really wish that our club would stand up for itself when this fixture comes around. Send the players out as if we're playing Arsenal and Wenger is up to his usual antics.

Why hasn't TP moved on instead of having digs at berahino? Whatever credit he had in the bank is long gone. Appreciate what he did but frankly I couldn't give a toss about the spiky prick. He's just a seriously bitter twat. Seems evident to me he's leaked the news deliberately in an attempt to throw us off for today's game. Just watch him send out his cloggers to snap the lad at the first opportunity. Sent from my SM-G928F using proboards

The hatred on this board for a Stoke City legend is sad and pathetic. Dress it up however you like but the man gave everything for us when he was here. He's got a different employer now so move on. You cannot say 'move on' while also referencing him as a Stoke City legend. That's effectively saying a Stoke City legend is a static unchanged state of being and because of this you cannot move on and have any other opinion of him. Yes, he managed our promotion into the Premiership and established us as a premiership outfit. Thanks Tone, you're a Stoke City legend. On the other hand, at various times in his career, he has been sued for millions (twice) where his dishonesty was cited in court, he has pissed about with players and careers, he has a cynical streak in the way that he has his teams play. He imposed upon us, the shittest version of the game anyone has ever seen. He toyed with the careers of players like Owen, Adam, Pennant, Tuncay, Gudjohnsen and others and apart from a few platitudes about Coates, he has been graceless in the extreme about the club since he left, you can practically see the chip on his shoulder. And this latest episode with Berahino ... “I’ve spent two and a half years at this club and he’s not my problem anymore. I wish him all the best.” Shortly followed by smearing him in the press. So much for wishing him all the best. Pulis may have been a Stoke City legend, but it is not mutually exclusive with him being a thunder cunt, which he is.

Nobody needs to be an apologist at all - there is absolutely nothing to apologise for. Just because some people start to make things up and then repeat them ad nauseaum doesn't make them facts. The only facts are that he achieved some great things at this football club and did some tremendously good work.

No he isn't. Further attempts to reason are pointless. Okay, right you are then I apologise , that was very glib . It is howvever very frustrating that the fantastic amount of high quality work he did a a football manager with us (so many players producing the best football of their careers) and the magnificent efforts he made for the general community of the city should be dismissed with such abuse. All this is then enflamed by the very stupid behaviour of a young footballer and the entirely unproven assumption that TP 'leaked" this to the press.

But I also know that a lack of reaction when someone is trying to wind you up and stir up hatred is often the most effective way to piss them off. Let Barahino just keep on smiling, Hughes maintain an admirable level of professionalism like he does so well and our boys fight fire with fire by finding the back of the net several times. That'll hurt Tone and the Baggies more than anything!!

I'm not really arsed in all honesty. The subject has gathered way too much interest. Let's not make out he's a Lee Hughes or a Luke McCormick. He's probably smoked a bit of weed and paid the price.
Whatever it is, it's in his past now and he joins us with a clean slate. We look after our own.
West Brom may have leaked this to unsettle him but it'll have the opposite effect.
I'd love it if he bagged today.

All this is then enflamed by the very stupid behaviour of a young footballer and the entirely unproven assumption that TP 'leaked" this to the press. Not many are just dismissing what he did for us. In fact, many have openly said they are grateful for what he did but that doesn't mean you're never ever allowed to criticise people for further actions they then go onto carry out. Being grateful to people in any walk of life doesn't then mean they have carte blanche to act in whatever they want with impunity from there on in. That's just ridiculous. IF it is Pulis (and it is only an if) that has leaked all of this out then he's a prick and has gone against FA policy so deserves criticism. If it isn't him then fair enough. However, you have as little evidence to state it definitely wasn't him as anyone else does to say it was. If you think they're twats to slag him enough without proof then you're just as bad to slag them off without any proof of your own. Some have gone over the top on here agreed, but you just tarring everyone with the same brush and ignoring those who HAVE admitted he did well whilst with us but then he went on to be a prick is pretty lame really. You've tried to put everyone into 2 distinct camps when that quite simply isn't the case at all.

Now then... There's no bigger PHW on this board than me but nobody can point a finger directly at Pulis and say he leaked this info when they did. I dislike, intensely, the way he's handled the interviews since but that's the Pulis I've always detested coming out. Anybody at West Brom could have done the initial leak. It might have been him but I just can't see him doing it. IMO he's too close to Coatesy to have done it. It's one thing plotting the downfall of your previous club to win a game of nogger and an entirely different scenario to deliberately sabotage the good relationships he has with the chairman of a club he once managed. The man is a paradox. He's done tremendous work for the Donna Louise and I'm not sure he would want to sacrifice that good part of his reputation either by being the instigator in all this. To me it sounds like somebody else has done it and he's now trying to make himself look good by coming out with his bullshit platitudes about what he's done for Saido.
Just my twopennyworth.
OS.
