What do people think about moving house at the moment? Would you wait to see what happens, or move regardless?
I've had my house up for 3 months with no luck, but I’ve heard a person saying that prices are going to fall by 10%, if this happens bang goes our deposit.
It's quite a scary decision to make as I have my first child due in October and would be gutted if I messed up.
Any help advice would be greatly received.

don't move unless you have to , although if moving to a more expensive property it may not be so bad , as theire prices will drop further in cash terms .

can't speak for england but over here in ireland house prices are still to drop a further 12% according to the men in the know.
If you don't have to go I would wait for a while. plus you might get a crap signal with sky in the new gaff, then where would you be ;D

10%.......? that would hit the housing market big time, can`t see it myself.Back in the early 90`s( i think) a lot of home owners were in negative equity because of a drop in house prices of just 4% imagine 10% .I don`t know your position re current property but i would sit tight if i were you, the only way you lose on property is if your house is repossessed or you sell.Is there any way you can re mortgage, draw equity out and buy your new home while renting your current home out to a Tennant?

Stoke's housing market is miles behind other areas of the country...just look at some parts of Cheshire. Some council houses in North Cheshire start at £200,000..and that's for a two bedroomed one.
A three bedroomed in Moore recently sold for £285,000.
Worry ye not ...time waits for no man...
JUST DO EET,>>!!!

Saw something the other day that I couldnt believe
Apparently Argoose are now doing a build your own three bed home for around 14,000
Unbelievable
Sell up and buy one, then spend your cash on a holiday to Barbados, and a season ticket for next year
