Would take that. Adam deserves benching after yesterday so it opens up a spot in midfield. I do wonder if we'll have any of the ACON boys back by then...

I would hope Saido could start, he can then be substituted if necesary. It would also be a good test of his fitness levels, which a 20 minute cameo isn't.
Bojan playing would also be dependent upon Saido starting ad I believe the two will be good for each others game.
By the time of the Everton game Hughes and co will know what we have bought.

Why would he drop Crouch? He's done well and league results have been good. Barring injuries in training he will more than likely run with exactly the same team as yesterday. It's what MH does.

Pretty difficult. You'll want to make sure to limit Lukaku's influence but also make sure that you can try to offer some sort of midfield superiority in numbers/energy. GCam still being out is killing us - we desperately need energy and presence in a DM role (desperately want Imbula to be that player but it's just not happening - maybe he could be similar to his first game vs Everton last year):

Everton looked good from the highlights yesterday. Lots of pace and finding space in midfield.
I don't know what team i'd pick right now.

Grant Johnson Shawcross Martins Indi Pieters Whelan Afellay N'Goy Shaqiri Arnautovic Berahino That front four looks incredible, and that'd be what I'd go with for the future eventually - but the midfield would get overrun by Everton's industrious 3-man midfield. Everton look to have gone for 3-5-2 in the past two matches - maybe then 3-5-2/3-5-1-1 to counter: Grant Shawcross BMI Muniesa Johnson Whelan Allen Adam/Afellay Pieters Shaq Arnie

Depends how he approaches the game really, if he wants mobility up front then Crouchy will have to make way Having failed to find any sort of settled attacking structure all season I doubt very much the management will want to change things too much at the moment. We need a bit of consistency if form and injuries will allow it.

Cause they paid 15 million for a new striker? Wouldn't it make sense to play him? Absolutely not if the team is doing well as it is. If problems arise then new players come in. True and Berahino said himself he's not match fit. Far rather we gave him some time to get up to fitness and get to know his team mates. Also after his recent experiences he needs to build up his confidence - one bad performance and the usual suspects will be on his back as another expensive Hughes failure - which isn't going to help anyone. Sometimes you buy a player in January and pin a lot of hopes on them - Beattie and Odemmwinge come to mind. This isn't the case with Berahino - we're in a good position so why saddle him with a lot of unnecessary pressure? I think we should see this as a summer transfer done early and judge him on how he performs next season. Anything this season is a bonus.

The ACON players seem on course to all qualify through the group stage, unfortunately. Wont see them until the end of the month, at least.

I'd go for the same starting 11 as yesterday with Berahino coming on for Crouchy with 20 minutes remaining.

The point I am trying to make is that it has been said that he is fit but not match fit. The only way to get match fit is to play,10 minutes,20 minutes isn't long enough; you need to play to being tired to get there.

Crouch and Berahino could work lovely in a 4 4 2 although I don't see that happening.

Hughes needs to find a way of making his team create chances for Berahino. He'll put them away for fun.
Think he'll stick with Crouchy for this game though.

So an unchanged team, surely, with Saido on the bench.

Not when he buys a £12M player that he's chased for 12 months. Why drop Crouch when he can play that player. Too bad for Peter but he's been there before.
