Interesting observation from their Match thread here: "Don't forget this was Stoke last week: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38474738Get at them early and they could crumble. Playing like a side recently wanting the club to sack the manager." Of course the first half performance will pull the wool over the eyes of many, at least for a short while.

I can only read so much before their constant incorrect and pointless use of 'like' drives me mental!

Losing to Stoke was an indicator as to how further the Mackems have fallen, out of all of them this was the massive kick in the bollocks that will send Sunderland down. It was like watching men v boys yesterday.

Stoke are exactly the sort of team we should be right now - full of nasty little feckers with some talent and balls plus a giant and canny full backs
Sound more like John Snows army =)

It was like watching men v boys yesterday. I don't understand their way of thinking , every season bar one we've finished above them and apparently they should be thrashing us ! We hav ups and downs but good enough to finish top half, really baffling that they have a god given right to be us !! Idiots

Worse supporters than us. A mass exodus at 34 minutes at home after the 3rd goal went in.

Credit where credit is due.
Sunderland have been a poor struggling team and club for many years.
If anybody continues to buy STickets, wear the shirt, and continue to say "I am a Sunderland supporter " they should be given some respect.
They ceartainly not "glory hunters", like many people are (incorrectly) accused of on here because they did not support Stoke in the Wildnerness years.

42,000 still turning up to watch a poor team...i feel for them...they are awful. Watching fans of a club they love leaving in droves at half time is very very sad.

Not understanding the "like" stuck on the end of what seems like every other sentence. Is that a regional dialect/slang thing? Anyway, the thread on Shaq was funny, but frankly, you'd have a hard time telling the difference from this board given recent events...

Watching almost half a stadium's worth of supporters leave after half an hour left was unsettling. They are a big club, by some metrics bigger than us. I was part chuffed and part saddened to see it.

And talking of dialects, they're almost Scottish: "Saw a boat load of stewards but nee polis"
