Crouch & Bojan could be a marriage that makes Abby jealous.
I wonder why no body has thought of that before ?

Given Bardsley Shawcross Indi Taylor Whelan Affelay Allen Shaqiri Bojan Arnautovic Think he will deffo play a centre forward ... either Bony, Crouch or SJW. Hughes now seems to have started to doubt that we can "out-football" any Premier League team, but surely we can use our technically better players to greater effect against mediocre Championship opposition (how I love saying that about wanky wanderers!!!). Crouch needs a rest after three tough games, Bony is at ACON and Walters is carrying a knock. Unless he dips into the youth team (not really the image I was going for these days, but there you go), it is Bojan or Arnie up front.

I'm not sure what gets into fans heads these days must be the media , but I love Cup games , a different opponent ,often a good away following and the only real chance we have of success , we mad a final a few years ago , semi last year yet people seem to prefer the turgid predictability of the league where if you get 10 good games a season you are lucky People are weird

It was verging on that for sure. Mark Hughes is in very real danger of losing the crowd and once you do that at Stoke it invariably only ends up one way. I've been a huge supporter of Hughes and a vehement defender of our season to date, but last night was bad. Had we lost, I doubt there would have been a way back for Hughes. Fortunately, they were the right opposition at exactly the right time. Yeah johnno. Its just one of those kind of vibes i recognised from years gone by. When we were far worse off. I was trying to search out the songs. Think i counted two. I dunno mate. I'm not one to go on about the crowd when i'm not there because they have paid but it just stinks of stagnation. Really hope we kick forward. With hughes. But i just don't see it. After the Leicester game last night was crying out for a 4-0 hammering to get the crowd back on side and with the second half chances to Crouch and Walters we could have done that. Instead of pushing on we bring on Whelan to shore things up. I know Hughes was seeing out the game after the Leicester screw up but this was a Watford side with 10 regulars out injured and desperately low on confidence. Let's hope against Wolves, who will be up for it we can win convincingly not by the odd goal or worse a draw or loss to get the crowd back on side.

Could you please explain where Watford had 10 regular 1st teamers missing from there line up as they only had Doucoure in there line up from the start who had not been a regular starter. Obviously listening to lazy journos who do not do there homework as Stoke could have said we started without 5 1st teamers (Butland, Bardsley, Whelan, Cameron,Imbula,)

Christ, they brought on Ighalo. Their back three was as strong as they could be and Capoue, Behrami and Holebas always play. As you say, lazy journalism.

A lot of pundits praised Watford for their good start to the season only a few games ago, we beat them 2-0 and people on this board are unhappy! You couldn't make it up, could you!!??

This will just be a game where Sparky hangs the "flair" players out to dry to justify not picking them in the league.

This will just be a game where Sparky hangs the "flair" players out to dry to justify not picking them in the league. Not sure I understand you. This is a game where you'd expect us to have a the bulk of possession which means we can afford to be a bit more wasteful. It's a perfect game for Bojan, Arnie and Shaq to try and find their feet and if they can't do it against Wolves I wouldn't back them to do it against Chelsea or Liverpool as these are teams that are very potent on the attack. I'd also like to see Imbula play alongside Whelan in the middle to see if we can get that working.

This is just the game for the flair players to shine, and grow in confidence...Put Wolves to the sword with some good attacking football, get a good tie in next round, and it will inevitably boost confidence all round, especially with, dare I say, a few 6 pointers coming up, though really I can't see us getting dragged into that...
