I have a £210 a month mortgage and earn about £17,500 before tax per year. I'm considered well paid in Stoke but still had to save and cut back to aford to re-new my season ticket. I think the national average is about £25,000 to £30,000 a year.
I imagine a few of the votes in this poll will be BULLSHIT!!!!!

I think you are right...Stoke is below the national average economically across the board...Wages/ house prices...etc etc
Some people for whatever reason fail to realise the economic plight of many who can no longer follow Stoke like they did 20 years ago....They are now regarded as second class citizens.
I feel that this attitude is fundamentally wrong....hence this post.!...........
