The usual haunt is the Quadrant just down from the cricket ground. Nowt special but always plenty of Stokies in there mixing with ManUre fans, half decent Chinese/chippie next door as well.....

Good man - kids welcome ? Yes mate always kids in there, as I say not the best pub in the world but to be fair the bar staff are always dead friendly. If you get there early enough normally and park on the road afterwards you can always get a flyer as well, although with it being a midday kick off I'm guessing the pub won't be open till 11.00.......?

I thought it was pretty decent in the Quadrant. The Man Utd fans I chatted to in there were sound. Actually had a decent conversation with a few, unlike the deluded tourists that are associated with them.

I work in the offices next to the cricket ground so a few minutes walk, we're always moaning about this place and how it is our most local pub. The landlady is quite something, but as you say it is probably okay for an away game. The Deansgate around the corner from Deansgate Castlefield is my favourite, only a short journey away to Old Trafford on the tram also. Has the best beer garden in Manchester.

We're all drinking in the centre afterwards. Not sure how many we'll be able to squeeze in before the game.
