Sounds like Diouf's fit, so can see him starting on the right? And could finally see Johnson back. Given Johnson Shawcross Indi Muniesa Whelan Allen Diouf Bojan Arnie Bony That team can get a hard-fought win. Come on Mark, do it

That bloody Zaha always seems to be a nuisance to us. I would try and mark him out of the game! Back to Charlie. He sent a wonderful ball between two defenders against Spurs, but Walters couldn't control it!

I'd rather we beat WBA actually than get thrashed by them! Sarcasm is a bit over your head it appears. "Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit" someone once said

The priorities for me are: 1. Keep a clean sheet; right now 0-0 would be a victory and show "progress", and we would have the same points total as last season after 5 games. 2. Do something different, what we have been doing is not working. 3. Pick a team to address what we are facing: a large physical striker and some fast, tricky wing play.
So, Cameron and Pieters at FBs would be suicide. We need at proper RB, Johnson preferably if fit, and I'd put Indi at LB if he can play there, as he is nippy and can't do worse than Pieters at the moment and Muni has never been successful at LB. Ryan and Cameron is our most physical CB pairing. Whelan isn't coping and needs help, play Allen alongside him with instructions not to try and cover every blade of grass on the pitch. Imbula needs resting and give Bojan the creative role, behind Bony. Arni on the left picks himself, leaving the options of who to play on the right. My first choice is Shaq but if he isn't fit enough for 90 mins then I'd prefer Diouf to Walters.
Given
Johnson (or Bardsley) Shawcross Cameron Indi
Whelan Allen
Shaq (or Diouf) Bojan Arnie
Bony
I'd have Pieters, Imbula, and Sobhi on the bench and, barring injuries, ensure Sobhi gets at least 30 mins game time

If Whelan or Walters get anywhere near starting this game, then it's proof that Hughes really has lost the plot. Bojan must start with Bony, and Ramadan on the wing. He could just be the surprise we need to get something from this game. I think he'll go with Diouf rather than Sobhi , certainly not SJW. Not sue if he'll drop Whelan however.

Cheeezfreeex Bardsley Shawcross Bruno Diouf Allen Imbula Adam Arnautovic Boj Bony I'll be vice captain from the nets and direct play. Impact off the bench. Think you need Bayernoatcake in defence, he KNOWS EVERYTHING about defending.

4-4-2 with Diouf and Bony up top.
Double the trouble for the Palace defence.

I have nothing logical to base this on at all, but I have a sneaking suspicion that we will nick this game 1-0 with a late counter-attacking breakaway goal from Bojan.

We're due some luck against Palace and in general especially when you consider their wonder strike in the last minute at our place last season, the Bolasie dodgy pen the year before and Gayle's late goal at their place

No chance of a clean sheet so we need to score at least one which brings us back to Adam as provider .
As is known I'm expecting another defeat but so Much of Sunday is how we play getting game time and pattern into legs before a changed team against hull and Sunday's team back for Our biggest game for years against the baggies .

I can't see anything more than a draw out this primarily because Pardew is a better coach and will have figured out Hughes's game plan.

Sounds like Diouf's fit, so can see him starting on the right? And could finally see Johnson back. Given Johnson Shawcross Indi Muniesa Whelan Allen Diouf Bojan Arnie Bony Why would anybody play Diouf on the right i don't know. He offers absolutely nothing from there I agree. Diouf is completely hopeless on the wing because his first touch is terrible and he can't dribble. His strengths are running onto through balls and getting onto the end of crosses - unfortunately, he doesn't get many of either of those, which is why he hasn't scored as many as he should when playing CF.

After the Tottenham match the approach of tomorrow's fixture has the feeling of falling off a horse. You have to get back on again quickly to regain your confidence and show control over the horse. Its never easy and you can understandably be nervous, but you have to be determined. If you are going to enjoy riding again and be good at it, just get back into the saddle and take up the reins.
Its the same situation for Stoke after such an abject collapse last week.
