According to Team Talk (so it must be true) we face competition for Indri Siggy. I can't get my head round how Bozzie could say he wasn't good enough for us in August yet now thinks he's the dog's bollox. Racing Genk technical director Ariel Jacobs has revealed Stoke face competition from French and Turkish clubs for defender Indridi Sigurdsson. Potters manager Johan Boskamp has watched Genk a number of times this season and the Dutchman has made no secret of his desire to bring in a left-back to support Marlon Broomes. But Jacobs insists Genk could still take up an option to extend the 24-year-old's contract and City are not the only club weighing up a move for the former Lillestrom man. "His contract runs until the end of the season and we have the option of another year so we will see," Jacobs said. "I spoke to the player on Tuesday and told him that we have have also had requests from Turkey and France. "Everything is possible and we are willing to talk about anything but we have not had anything concrete from any of the clubs."

Neither can I.
I remember listening to an interview on Radio Stoke, where he was really dismissive of him
"No..this player...not good enough for Stoke City". or something similar.
Now he's the No.1 target to fill our real problem position?.
And we aren't even prepared to pay a fee for him in January.
