The worst courier company out there. Even if you leave a note on the door they ignore the instructions

An update: Supposed to have 2 deliveries from Yodel today by two different drivers (?) Just had one delivery, thought I'd check the mailbox while out and there's a Yodel card saying the other driver tried to deliver at 12pm. Now I've been home all day and not once did the fucking door go around 12. Wank.

Was it Yodel delivery drivers who were caught crushing parcels containing the Ceramic Poppies from The Tower Of London,to fit them through customers' Letterboxes?
Would sum them up if it was.

The worst courier company out there. Even if you leave a note on the door they ignore the instructions No Al that accolade goes to Hermes for me. Their army of delivery drivers are Joe Public who pitch up in anything from a hired white van to a beat up Vauxhall Cavalier estate. Few weeks ago ordered a small cupboard from Amazon that should have been delivered by Hermes on a Friday. Waited in all day then got an email from them at 1730 saying due to difficulties it would be delivered in the next two days. Waited in Saturday went out about 1830 only to get home at about 2330 to have another email saying delivery was attempted at 1925 and I was to follow the instructions on the card left by delivery agent. There was no card at all so spoke to their online help desk who said that some agents don't leave a card with their personal phone number on them. Said definitely be here Monday so waited in again. Didn't deliver and message on Amazon feedback said delivery had been attempted at 1630 which they hadn't because I was home. Got on to Amazon who made inquiries with Hermes and they stipulated it would be here on Tuesday. You've guessed it....it didn't arrive again I had another email from Hermes saying there was a transport delay and would be delivered Wednesday before 1100. I'd now lost the will to live by this time. But, as promised, the parcel arrived at 0930 on the Wednesday but delivered by a diffent courier, can't remember the name but it wasn't Hermes. When I question the delivery chap he said that his company regularly gets parcels from Hermes that are too big for their agents to handle. FFS this was just a smallish flat packed parcel. Anyway the packaging was badly damaged leaving a small scratch on the back panel of the cupboard which I wasn't too bothered about. Contacted Amazon to tell them about the damage and they offered 40% refund or an exchange. I took the money back offer as you can guess.
