16 May 1992 was the warmest day of the year. I got married that day and was gutted it was also a cup final for The Potters as I desperately wanted to go to Wembley, but wedding had been booked for 18 months. Changed my kick off time from 3pm to 2pm though as I didn't want to walk down the aisle as Stoke were kicking off at Wembley. Caught the whole match on the radio (in between photo calls) and the result capped off a great day. Still tell my hubby I must love him to give up the opportunity of Stoke at Wembley to marry him.

Awwhh!! Nice to have a bit of romance amongst all the testosterone - (don't tell anyone though, Ive got my sinister rep to protect )

Good to hear a reasonably paced Delilah.

Good to hear a reasonably paced Delilah. Delilah is very bitter sweet. Sounds dreadful when it's done at a hundred miles an hour. Hold the pace and there's no song better.

Get goosebumps watching those videos, I am all for only belting Delilah out at special moments, not weekly at 78rpm.

What an absolute tragedy that Stockport now find themselves some 110 or so places below us, though technically National League North, and National League South are both as, cough cough, prestigious as each other. So really it's more like 130 places... Only a matter of time before they reach the dizzy heights of yesteryear especially with Jim Gannon, yes, that Jim Gannon, at the helm. Surprised he has never tapped up Steino for a role there, maybe as his assistant...
