Bit harsh. She made disparaging comments about the Sweden team but she's entitled to her opinion isn't she? At least she said something. English players come out with mono syllable drivel a media team told them to say.

Freedom of speech is atrocious in football governing bodies, who themselves are as corrupt as hell. Laughable this whole incident. Anyone care to ask the Swedish girls their rebuttal instead of harping on a bonafide crazy GK for the US?
What happened to the other-side of the coins views these days? Over sensationalism to sell shit, in this case women's football, is all it is.

I think they made a comment about it being an accumalation of things and probably included her disrespectful outbursts about the Zika virus too, bit too old to learn by her mistakes and all a bit American/Arrogant if you ask me. Her career is over so maybe trying to get as famous as poss with her outbursts.

Yes, she is entitled to her opinion but she made the crass mistake of spouting off about it. The Swedish did well to give the matter some dignity by not responding - something that should be done more often in sporting spats. |

All signs point to this being a cumulative suspension, from the DUI, violence, Zika, and this incident. Also she misses only 2 games so it's really not a very long sentence.

It's not really even close to anything that Wenger and Ramsey said about Stoke, and nobody was fussed by that. Surely this is one of those things where the Swedes go away happy with the result and the knowledge that they can wind up and take the piss out of a loony bin goalkeeper?

I doubt she ,or more importantly her agent, will give a monkeys in fact it probably increases her earnings potential by getting her name 'out there' !

The authorities have just had enough of her and I'm surprised people haven't also raised her physical abuse of teenagers to go along with the sex tape and general gobshitery.
