Apart from Joe Allen who was the shining light today.The same problems will continue to haunt us unless the manager sorts out the defence.Clean sheet mentality has got to return for a while if we are to get going this season.Having said all that they were very good for most of the game

Relegation, doom and gloom at the 90 from the same lot versus a CL contender, potential league champion and one of the best sides in Europe with an amazing manager and endless purse. 4-1 was a dampener but it wasn't as if we weren't right there at times. |

We have conceded more than any other team in this league since Xmas . We don't make many chances and jacket scored in open oaky this season .
On the basis of conceeding more goals than anyone and scoring less we are cast iron Certs for the bottom three .
We had all summer to resolve these issues and have added none of pace , strength or goals of defensive discipline and chose to do nothing about any of them .
We get out dealt by teams above and below us palace and Southampton and today's performance was abject in every areas fo the game .
Out keepers distribution was worse than diabolical our defence shambolic our open play yielded not s single chance and out game management from the bench beyond contemptible
The traffic is worse than ever , the shop laughable the PR despicable the whole place stinks of complacency and it showed through today in players who hadn't practiced enough , hadn't been coached enough and played off the cuff and expected t to be good enough .
And the disaster started with a team selection that was pathetic with bojan on the right .
Having seen today only Allen of the big money guys can' be used in the managements defence shaq is always injured Joselu forgotten

Don't want to be a profit of doom so early in the season but Allen aside this looks like the same team that was awful in the last third of the season and only looked capable of beating shit like Aston Villa and Newcastle. Not sure anyone in the league this year, even Hull, are as dispirited and shit as Villa were last season.
We can't do the basics such as defending corners or organising ourselves out of possession. We've got the icing on the cake with players like Arnie and Allen but the cake is soggy and inedible. I'm worried..........we're looking more QPR than Blackburn at the moment Mr Hughes.

We are making conceding 4 at home something that happens with alarming regualarity and there is a stench of complacency around us and the players 10 of whom + the manager were woeful again today

Defensive frailties are there to be seen especially full backs and we continue to create very little
Yet again we seem to only turn the intensity up when we go a goal down
Plus 3 key players already injured two of which are so obvious that they will continue to happen ( Shaq and AJ)
