You could also go with "When id finished the hole was this big so i chucked huw a shovel and said try filling that" 15 million for joe allen tell that welshie huw ive got that down the back of the sofa. Then when ive finished spunking that on players ill spunk on his wife and show him a picture of her face saying "see that thats no melted cheese oatcake thats your mrs face that is" then wipe my dick on a swansea shit and leave em both crying him in despair and her in passion I find it amazing what some people read into a simple picture. Me I look at it and think Who is, Where is, and What is. N O V U S.

I never really liked him at Swansea as he always seemed to be one of these midfielders that didn't offer much defensively or going forward. Decent point that but I just hope it doesn't involve a 5-3-2....... I liked his passing at Swansea and he was disciplined too, though Britton was the one doing the dirty work. He has added a nice line in niggly fouls to his game though, which I like to see from a DM. Can't see 3-5-2 or a variant happening, we surely wouldn't be trying to hold onto Arnie or putting the effort into signing Sobhi if that was the case? He did but passing it sideways was a massive part of the problem last season. He's got to speed what he does up and if he can do it might work. I hope not but I also don't think he'll be trying it in pre-season without it being considered even as a plan b.

That came from higher up the pitch.

Top top post. I've written to Saint Peter suggesting that the club buy 150 decent 2 bedroom terraced houses in Stoke. I'll let you know what he says in reply. Jesting aside Lakeland, transfer fees and player contracts are just not comprehensible to many fans and my post was aimed at trying to make some sense of what the confetti money equates to in real world terms. Surely this level of increase of expenditure year on year cannot go on foreever? No it can't. But it was inevitable that with a new deal for the TV rights in place, that clubs would want more for their players and agents would want more wages for their players. Clubs all over the world know they can charge more providing that two or more clubs from a list which includes: the Prem and top clubs from the Spanish, German or Italian leagues, are interested in a player. To that list you can increasingly add clubs in China and to a lesser extent Russia. That's the way things are at present. Things will settle down but I think the first year of the new deal was always going to be like this. The knack is to do what we are slowly trying to do and to make sure that most of your transfer spend goes on players who are young enough to have decent resale value should you ever wish to sell. This was our big weakness in our early years after promotion.

And the replacement is being held in the Tower of Smethwick by the Sherriff of West Bromwich and his cronies.

Had this transfer taken place 12 months ago, I would not have been overly impressed ,however as Chief Delilah said Allen seems to have improved vastly under Klopp ,he was the best player on the pitch when they beat us in the 1st leg of league cup semi, and has had an excellent Euros. I think he will add a lot of energy to our midfield and can see him pressing the opposition deep in their own half .A midfield of Imbula, Allen and Whelan has potentially a good balance .

If Arnie goes then 4-3-3 might be in order? Midfield 3 of Joe, Imbo and Glenn behind Bojan Saido and Shaq? If Arnie stays then God knows what Hughes has got lined up? Have you calmed down a bit now? Have I missed him signing or are we still ordering the pizzas?

I've read so much positive stuff about him in the past few days I'm pretty much convinced he is top notch! It's just that I've never thought that when watching him play for L'pool or Swansea - but what the heck pretty much sums my thoughts up but as we share the same surname, i'm sure he'll turn out to be great for us

My main concern is that, assuming Arnie is heading out the door, it puts a lot of pressure on Sobhi or we would end up with Diouf and/or SJW as our wide cover, which isn't good enough really.

I reaaaallly hope we have seen the last of Diouf out wide. My heart sinks. Give the lad a run up top, long term, or make signings to fix the wide issue and if there's a lack of confidence in him, replace him too.

But IF Berahino comes in, then I just can't see both of them starting if I'm honest. And if it is a 4-3-3, and both Diouf and Bojan were to be in the starting XI, then there's only one of those who would be starting centrally, and it isn't Mame. It's all hypothetical though with for too many 'ifs'. Will be interesting nonetheless.

Been looking at a Swansea forum, some very amusing comments
Here's a sample "Stoke? Really? It's like finding out that woman you fancy has shacked up with an Andrew Lloyd Webber look alike. Unfortunately had to spend some working time in that neck of the woods and the only good thing I can say about it is that it's close to Alton Towers. Shit club shit place.... What's Joe thinking even considering it? "
They do seem to be having a meltdown

Surely Diouf is the backup to Saido with Walters and Sobhi as wide cover. Joselu able to fill in for Diouf for the inevitable injury or spell in the naughty corner.

I really don't get where Swansea fans get this sense of entitlement from seeing as they were almost non-league not too long ago, and they've been managed by a giant, slithering, gillet-touting clitoris.
Taffy tits.
