Read somewhere this morning that the new owners wanted to first sell Ki. They did mate.So in away they fucked up.My self i would have prefered Ki. You'd prefer Ki? Why?

Ki is a, in football manager terms, deep lying playmaker. Just because he's in a defensive position on the pitch, it doesn't mean he's actually any good at defending. His job is to start attacks and keep it simple.

I'd take him, Allen or McCarthy to be honest. I'm sure I've seen Ki play as an actual holding midfielder a few times. Not as a 'deep lying playmaker' but an actual holding midfielder. Didn't he have an absolute stormer against us for Sunderland playing precisely that role?
