The fuckwits at NUFC should give him a job as supporter liaison, advisor, consultant, whatever.
He's spot on with everything he says and he knows the club inside out.

That's called having your opinion and taking it to another level. Passionate or what. I've got a pineapple knocking around somewhere I think. Started counting the Sunderland references then gave up.

Stadium Announcer....Now that would be good... " Put your hands together and welcome onto the pitch these lazy cunts who should be force fed dog shit..."

To be honest, as funny as he is, is he treading a thin line legally calling Ashley a thick useless cunt amongst others, I bet if Ashley so desired he'd be all over him with his legal team...Maybe after he leaves the club he will, as lets face it, he'd hardly want to become even more unpopular...

I doubt if Ashley has any hope of legal redress. If you call someone a "thick useless cunt" that is offensive but it is an opinion - that is all. If you express an opinion on someone you don't have to justify it unless you leave yourself open to challenge by using "facts" which can be challenged. So, for example, Geordie WOULD be open to a legal challenge if he called Ashley corrupt because, to be corrupt, you have to engage in certain acts which are illegal . In such a case Ashley might well have asked him to prove his point in court and, if he couldn't prove it, Geordie would have been liable to damages.

Counting on one hand, how many pounds in the bank do you think this Geordie has (assuming he's been sued successfully?)?

While I quite like True Geordie's persona, largely because he reminds me of several Geordie mates and their type, just ask yourself this:
How bloody unbearable would he be if Newcastle were being successful, on a par with, say, Leicester?

That was funny! Felt a twinge of sadness for him really because of his passion. Football REALLY does mess with your head. If Stoke lose it totally F...s my weekend up! I sulk, tell my lady "I'm never going again!" Have a few brandies and by the time MOTD comes on I want to punch Jug Ears Lineker! I can't go bed because we're always on last and the cat now knows that if he looks at me wrong, he's down the vets on Monday. So yes, I know where he's coming from.

It's like us being sent down by the Vale. It takes a concerted effort by a lot of people to get a club like Castle (and Villa) relegated.

He did make reference to Ashley's other businesses which could be a bit of a grey area Yes he did but I can't actually remember what words he used and I'm not going to listen to it again to check! But, if he expressed an opinion on the stuff Ashley sells - that's no problem as "fashion" is in the eye of the beholder. Again, if he says something like I don't know how you've managed to become a £billionaire with your weird ideas of how to run a business - that's no problem, as it is true that Geordie has no idea how Ashley runs his business. If, on the other hand he was to say "to make a £billion you must have done a few dodgy deals" then he leaves himself open to being sued unless he can prove what he says is true.

Counting on one hand, how many pounds in the bank do you think this Geordie has (assuming he's been sued successfully?)? Sometimes, of course, a very rich person or company, will sue a person with no assets, not in the hope of actually obtaining damages but in the hope of making life hell for the person they sue. If the party claiming to have been libeled wins their case they can say they "have cleared their name" even if they never recover damages. If they lose, the cost of the court case is nothing to them and the stress will be minimal compared to the stress and aggravation to the person they were suing. Life isn't always fair, sadly. Hopefully, Geordie is clued up enough to stay just on the right side of the libel laws and Ashley doesn't decide to take him to court just for the hell of it. Incidentally, those rants of Geordie's are pretty well scripted I should think. It all comes over as if he is just having a rant but I bet he sits down before hand and works on excatly what he is going to say - if only to get the timing and the punch lines right. A few stand up comics could learn a lot from Geordie.

The True Geordie is one of the best things about Premier League football in recent years. He deserves a knighthood.
