His name doesn't come up as much as the likes of Stein but definitely an old favourite
Nice trip down memory lane
A few good goals and a lot of very poor defending too!

Really liked the last goal on there - it was the last of his first spell at Stoke, a sublime left foot curler against Mansfield, last 10 secs on the video

He kissed the badge and 5 days later joined mighty Barnsley. Way of the modern footballer... And it isn't modern it was 24 years ago. It hasn't changed that much. When I first startedgoing people bemoaned players lack of loyalty. It isn't a new thing.

Yeah but he gave us some frigging mentals, stoke legend. Could do with goalscorer like him now. Him, stein and sheron knew where the net was 🔴⚪🔴⚪🔴⚪

Gifted and had a touch of arrogance about him.

Gutted when he left! Thrilled when he came back, gutted when he got his lengthy ban for pushing the ref, gutted when he left again! My ultra ego on any online game is still BertieBiggins Those goals also show just how good Johnny Butler was.

Thing I always liked about him was he loved scoring goals, you can see it in his reaction every time he did.
None of this contrived celebration bollocks, just goes temporarily nuts like we all do for a few seconds, good on him.

He kissed the badge and 5 days later joined mighty Barnsley. Way of the modern footballer... hardly the modern footballer. We had players in say the 40s who asked for transfers for more money didn't we?

I get was less money in the game as wasn't global like today but our biggest stars then left us for the ££££. Many blame others but it came down to one thing. Cost us titles as well possibly.

Odd thing re Biggins' 2 goals at Huddersfield After his first, no other Stoke player touched the ball before he got his second. Very unlikely that scenario has ever happened before. in fact after us taking the lead, the next Stoke touch of any kind was Biggins making it 2-0
