I suspect he's considered a move to Everton isn't much of a step up and is going to sit tight and see what comes up when he is a free agent. Although the last 2 pages have been all about Arnie signing a new 4 year contract. Don't believe everything you read on here. I'll believe it when's announced. |

This would make for a decent window as has been said takes out the perception we can be picked off , and when you add Allan and Sobi we would have a decent chance of an incremental window. Striker and centre half would make it the best window since promotion for me but still a way to go but progress non the less so credit where credit is due. can you pl£sae tri to tran$l8 what it is written you just have i understnad so cna please? I am not ITK and rarely post rumours however I was chatting to my Everton supporting buddy on the phone today, he does have a bit of ITK through his status at the club. He believes Arnie's contract demands were 'from fantasy land' and Everton dropped the discussions rapido.
His agent might of course go back with better terms but it seems there was a huge gap between the two parties view of Arnies worth

People moan about him possibly going to an average team but he's an average player who's ego is far greater than his talent! He walks with a swagger of ronaldo or zlatan but isn't fit to lace their boots! I just hope that if he does go to play for those scouse bastards that we give him plenty of abuse! Just like krissy commons - he wanted to play for a bigger club and went to forest! He is as important to us as ronaldo to madrid though. He is our best player. I would like to see your version of good if arnie is average...rolly eyes thingy. This thread has shown that we have some complete weapons in our support. |

If we keep Arnie and offer him a new contract even on something like 80k a week we'll have saved money on buying a replacement potentially costing 10m-15m on 50-60k and he still might not be as good as the main man.
Fingers crossed he'll sign a new contract. His performances last season have earnt it (within reason). If Drinkwaters on 80k a week then for me Arnies worth the same if not more.

Arnie at last season standard, coupled with a more PL-wise Shaq and Imbula (+ Potteries Pirlo), alongside a fit and firing Bojan (and Berahino maybe) in front of a (hopefully) settled defence + Jack? PLUS Sobhi, Charlie, SuperJon and Crouchy to sub on/rotate?
