If arnie goes the transfer window for Stoke at that point would be a disaster. We currently need a CB , striker and reserve keeper If arnie goes. Another winger Can't see us signing another keeper we have 3 already. But ones too old and the other is awful

Football has changed so much in the last 20 years, Everton will always be in the shadow of the other club on Merseyside, both clubs living in the past unwilling to fathom the possibility of little Stoke challenging at the high table, for what its worth Everton are a bigger club but they are a shadow of the club their fans think Yes, I tend to agree with you,....... Tranmere Rovers are a fantastic football club !

Come on Arnie, stay where you are loved!
This will be the best signing of the summer if it happens!

I will say it again for the 100th time, if ARNIE signs it will be the best signing this summer with no disrespect to our new additions. Come on ARNIE put us out of our misery as I want to give my Everton mate some shit , just as he's given me this last week. UTMPs

I can only think of 3 main reasons why a player would leave us for another Prem club.
1) Money - We can match Everton 2) European Football - N/A and both clubs have equal chance to qualify next season 3) Getting into the International side - playing for Stoke has done Arnie no harm in that regard
There are other less important factors but I don't think in this case they hold any sway - Fanbase, Location, History, etc.

How does one "costume" Clayton Woods I really wondered about that myself, but as I'm not a native speaker I wouldn't be the one to ask! Is this in any way a common use of that word in English? I suspect that the original by SL&P was done on a mobile phone with predictive text and we have ended up with a totally random word! Either that or the SL&P bloke comes from the Fegg Hayes area (of Stoke) and English is not his native language!

If i was him i know what my choice would be

Is being a greedy bastard that bad of a thing anyway? It really does show a lack of empathy imo. Mostly we'd all be greedy in this situation, it's human nature and the right thing to do! You know Bayern I don't often agree with you but you're bang on bastard right on this. Some right knicker wetting, fannying, shit written on this thread about something nobody outside the club really knows anything about. SL&P have put their arses on the line on this one and I'm hoping they're right partly to make the few eat a massive portion of humble pie but mainly because I bloody love (in a best mate sort of way you understand) the loony Austrian.

Not only will arnie staying be superb but it sends a message to current players and transfer targets that Stoke mean business

To be fair, although the deal isn't concluded, it would be a pretty big blow to the reputation of our club if we lost our player of the season to Everton.

I love that we are happy to refer to playing football for Stoke City as nothing more than a job. How many of us work in jobs where there are forums dedicated to it, where people scream your name and ask for autographs, where you are treated like a God (rightly or wrongly)? If this is the same as working for the Council then why do we even go or give a shit? When I worked for the council people used to scream my name. That was your boss screaming at you to get back to work
