Every team needs five or six players with his type of attitude good teams have nine or ten , it is a worry for me that as him and Whelan come to the end of their career the new ones dont have the same attitude Affelay is one who has that consistency but too many don't seem to care enough

We've got some proper bell ends in our midst Id say because it's been a poor league with a fair few teams underachieving , we had a great spell from the Chelsea cup game to Boxing Day , other than that it's been mostly disappointing |

I've only seen them on Match of the Day; but I can't see how having Walters standing on the right wing instead of Diouf would have stopped us conceding any of the goals.

SJW super workrate,very little creative ability,scores around 10 goals a season,thats not enough for a top striker.and sadly thats why he is just an average player. we need a top class striker.

Nowt to do with missing Butland, Pieters, Johnson, Shakiri, and Affelay, and having a clearly not fit Shawcross in the team. This is not an anti-Walters post. We miss him as well. But that's quite a roll-call isn't it.

Weren't you one of those who used to take the piss out of the 'rimmers' for saying "but we're 8th FFS"? Well, know we're "10th FFS" and you don't seem to think much is wrong? |

This is going to sound awful and it isn't meant to as I've a lot of time for Jon Walters and I'd say he is up there as one of Tones best signings. ..
....but...The day we eventually don't have to rely on him will be a good day as it means we've finally sorted our forward/wide player issues .
