Who will we put out? If Arnies injured we really will be striuggling. Id go with
....................Jakob.................
Bards.......Ryan...GCam...Erik
......Whelan.............Adam.......
....................Imbula.................
...........Bojan...........Iteland......
......................Diouf..................
Haugaard scares the life out of me. Maybe give Moha or Shenton a game ahead of Ireland might spark the crowd.

Already written the last 3 games off.
I expected nothing less than another defeat. They have something to play for. We have cocktails by the pool waiting to be quaffed.

Haugaard certainly has had a baptism of fire for sure.
Sunderland is a game for the grafters, Sunderland will be fighting for their lives especially if Newcastle take something today.
I probably echo many in saying I would take a point from a really tricky fixture
I fear should we lose, we will lose the last two games as well. Whether it really is a disspointing season is up for discussion but it will be a poor end to the season and the danger is of it carrying over to next

Sunderland is a game for the grafters, Sunderland will be fighting for their lives especially if Newcastle take something today. Which is exactly what worries me. We haven't got the backbone for graft. Nor have we got the determination to grab a game by the bollocks and turn results in our favour. It's going to get real ugly down there should Sunderland get the opening goal or equalise.

Seems like Arnie is out injured as well. And why is Wolly always the scapegoat? Ryan is the player directly responsible for 3 of their goals, not Wolly. As much as I love Ryan, he's nowhere near his best & desperately needs to be dropped. And Diouf is just not good enough. It's not that he's a poor striker, he's just not a very good footballer. He never looks comfortable with the ball at his feet & his passing is just terrible. Apparently Walters will be back next week. So if that's the case, I'd go with - Charlie Adam's cameo was promising so I'd suggest it's time to go back to the formation that won us games at the beginning of the season -
---------------- Jakob ---------------- Bards - Wolly - Tex/Wilson - Pieters ------- Whelan ------ Adam --------- Walters -------- Bojan -------- Moha -------------- Joselu ------------------
Imbula on for Bojan at 60 mins.

Sunderland possess two of the quickest full-backs, and most probably players in the league in DeAndre Yedlin and Patrick Van Aanholt, if we don't start with the only pacey players we've got we might as well just award them a 4-0.

'd go with:
Haugaard Bardsley cameron wollscheid pieters Whelan imbula Shaqiri Adam arnie Diouf
Diouf moves to the right if one of the wingers can't go, and to the left with bojan coming in if both can't.

Haugaard
Bardsley Wollscheid Muniesa Taylor
Lecygne Imbula
Walters Bojan Moha (Arnie if fit)
Diouf
Bachman Cameron Pieters Whelan Shaqiri Shenton Telford
That team would probably get twated but at least there's players in there that'd be desperate to make an impression. The way we're playing we've got absolutely nothing to lose by playing some of the kids.

For weeks i've been saying we're going to lose this, fucking nailed on 0-1! Defoe is the man to bulge our net, if you know what i mean missus!
Having said that, we've been so abysmal of late that we'll probably win this now. 7-1, all from corners.
