They're just setting up the equipment I've waved an EMF detector over the light fittings and the main Ghosthunter is feeling the presence of a man with a tache. Nipped into the shitter to post. Back to the main room now.

Night vision camera is picking up inexplicable orbs in the snug.
Sat around the skittle table nah. Picking up an owd man, apparently.
(Landlady's feeding in some historical info.) They've just found her fags. But I think it might taint the results.

One can safely assume that you were not raised on a council estate in the Cultural Quarter or any other quarter for that matter and that you had free and unlimited access to music on a regular basis . You may not have also experienced the joys of an outside Kazi in the depths of winter in altitudes of above 600 feet and went on family holidays by car each and every year . You were also allowed to grow your hair quite long in your formative years and never had to rely on Shipmans spread and jam as the basis for your nutritional staple diet up to and including 18 years of age . Candles were never used as a means of merely keeping warm , but as a means of providing an ambient 'spooky' light in long hard winters . You probably have never saved Alpine pop bottles either or realised the significance of doing so .....Rock on Tommy

Getting interesting now. Apparently picking up stiff about a motorcycle smash (that anyone could have read about.)
Ramping up the theatre and there's loads of orbs on the monitor.
I've come outside for a fag.

Still serving which is sweet. Spirits soon.

The Planchette didn't go too well. Spelt out 'Chris' and he ran out. Landlady called time, spooked out by a load of nowt. It is late though.
Nothing concrete but the Pub has at least eight spirits apparently.
I'll give the thing a bit more thought after a kip but the verdict so far is... Bag of bollox.

You know your voodoo $#!t, I had to look it up. Think it was a typo & it was supposed to spell "Chavs" I try to keep an open enquiring but cynical mind about it all Bath. Had a few 'strange' Ouija experiences that I can't offer any rational/normal explanation for. So if the opportunities arise to have a go/learn more I do. Wednesday night was an accidental lock-in at me local, in the 18th century the building was used as a mortuary for navvies killed while cutting the Trent & Mersey, there have been several occupants/bar staff who have claimed 'paranormal' experiences. So the 'Peace After Death Potteries Paranormal society came to investigate. I gatecrashed. The group itself were serious and quite 'professional' in their approach to the detectors etc. Taking base readings etc. But I'm still not entirely convinced by their interpretive 'science'. {They could well have been picking up ambient disturbances, but to say it is 'ghostly/paranormal' is a massive leap for me. Had a chance now to speak to the other four 'civilians' who were involved and seen some of the weird photos that were taken on the night. Three of the party are convinced that there was 'ghostly' activity. {But one of them was operating on a gallon and a half of Guinness.} Two of us remain interested {and were entertained} by it all, but not convinced any of it offers any evidence. I must say the voice box/Ovilus was freaky as fuck when it had a lucid conversation with the landlady {but it could have been rigged/random}, and there's funky photos of faces on turned off tv's in the background and a 'spooky' spectral image by the bar. It was all stuff that could have been researched/doctored/manipulated etc, but being as there was no charge, it's a hobby for them, I don't see any real motivation to go to such lengths. The jury's still out but they're coming back. {And we've been invited to join them on an 'investigation' in Beach Caves.} It was an interesting night to say the least. Be interesting to hear if anyone else has dabbled.

When I first got wind it was happening a couple of us were going to hang around, be dicks and do a bit of window tapping etc. I had a chat with the paranormal investigators and they were decent folk, and seeing their techy stuff I got drawn in. It was surreal. It's left quite an impression on three of my fellows, but to me it was a piss up with props. Which was good.

I actually have a real ghost story, a proper full on haunting that happened in my childhood home
We're not talking creaking floorboars/dripping taps etc either
Im talking a home help we had seeing and talking with a man she knew nothing about, describing his unusual appearance to a tee - a man that committed suicide in the house, some 20 years prior. The same thing also attacked my sister to the point she was hysterical and is hesitant to discuss it today. She described it as an enormous, dark, cowl shaped thing that appeared between her & the banister - it seemed to actually block the light out
I personally never saw it but (and again knowing nothing of this until afterwards)I often sensed 'something' on the stairs area - that was where it mostly happened. We had 2 dogs as well, that in unison would move their heads looking and seeing at something unseen
I honestly don't care what the sceptics and closed minded scientists say , underneath all the fakes, frauds and con artists, there is a 1% that is very real. Either something of that man survived his physical death or some entity chose to appear as him, either way I'm totally convinced that there can be non physical life. After all the reading ive done the past year, I am sure that human consciousness survives death. I personally consider it a privilege to have had this happen many years ago - as a result, I have very little fear of actual death, only the dying itself as I feel strongly on my experience that there is a continuation of existence.
On a side note, I have had no experience but based on the above I would really say to stay away from Ouija boards - no need to open 'doors'

I looked around it returned to normality. I said before I wsan't 100% sure about the experience but it was really strange. I'm convinced this person returned to make me aware of the life after death because up until that point it used to bother me a bit and i often quietly wondered, it was if they turned up to put my mind at rest and to let me know they were o.k

Go with your gut feeling; it very probably was a real presence
The world of sleep and dreams particularly lucid dreams is a strange one particularly when it crosses over into astral projection and OBE experience.
I often wonder if the illusory realm of dreams is where we go to when we die. Certainly some of the reading out there suggests this. Apparently there are many levels/dimensions all around us

It is interesting, even sceptics will always back away from Ouija
its sometimes sold as a childs toy but its anything but!
Always wise to be sceptical, I am myself on many things, but always remain open minded.
