You can't base a judgment on a player from them though can you? You only have to read some of the garbage written about Stoke players on here by people who supposedly watch them week in, week out to realise that. |

Has he got some sort of wish list as to where he wants to be,who he'll be a good boy for,friends somewhere etc. Because he's set his stall out as a spoilt brat for all to see who's to say he'll chuck his toys out and be an expensive pain in the arse for us. Too bloody unpredictable. Crap at spot kicks into the bargain.

Berahino's fall from grace has been alarming, 18 months ago he was being touted as a potential gem for the international side, now he's missed two penalties in one game and is seemingly vilified by his own fanbase.

Today's experience could actually be the making of him.
It will have brought him down to earth with a huge bump. He is now the pariah of the fans, he is likely to get little sympathy from his team mates as he has "cost them" today, and even his closest mates will be distanced. His value will have gone down today, so someone could get him relatively cheaply in the summer.

If we are going to spend 20 million on a striker it has to be a player capable of scoring between 15 - 20 goals a season, I dont think he has managed 20 in his career at WBA - looks a bit lightweight to me and not a step up from what we already have

That was in a poor side too. I can understand the concerns about his character,although I think that's been over played,but you can't doubt he knows how to score goals. |
