It was announced before the game that any smoke bombs or flares set off by either sets of fans would bring serious punishment to the club. No suprise they did it anyway, in all honesty it looked fantastic.
I also found out that smoking is allowed in the stands during the game, it's only banned in the family area.

What has happened about the Stokies who were crushed at Anfield before the cup semi-final. Yes, what has happened about that, what recommendations came out of the meeting between club, supporters and police? Any consideration given to delaying kick offs and putting real paying fans attending games ahead of the millions of gloryhunters watching in countries around the world? Also what has happened about Liverpool fans standing all game (and every game) on the Kop (A Hillsborough induced designated all seated area). BM

You see Owdestokie, I have no personal, political or sick agenda. This is a message board to post, chat, laugh , live and debate all things football. I posted this light heartedly based mainly on the sickly over exposure that the fantastic Liverpool fans get every time they are televised. Read the quoted article, not the first time is it? Were you at the Brit in December? Flares can maim or worse yet this is 4 times I know of in recent months that this has happened. Put your Hillsborough goggles away and read between the lines. Scallys to a man, yet never their fault.

Them and Man Yoo fans will "jib" as well. A way of getting 2/3 people through the turnstile. It's why when we play them the seats are full and the gangways are.
And they always have flares and shit. Tossers.

Didn't a stokie get a banning order for a smoke thing at shitfield 4 year ban from all football grounds and an awful lot of sanctimonious condemnation about what a dangerous thing it was to do at a football ground from scousers. Bleeding hypocrites.

Serious question. As I don't really follow any other clubs or much to do with them.. But on the Hillsborough incident, I know it's a very sensitive subject (and rightly so) but fuck me it doesn't half drag on
I heard on the radio some kind of verdict is due (in what feels like the 15th inquest into the crush and who was to blame)
But it got me thinking.. If the Liverpool fans / families involved don't get the answer or ruling they want, is it just going to carry on going on or what?
It puzzles me to this day that it still gets talked about like there is new evidence and compelling evidence in favour of the victims in the tragedy.

I don't get why the media are scared to death to criticise Liverpool supporters. The way they behave is a disgrace, especially in the wake of the tragedies that have hit them. I think it makes some of them think it gives them a free pass.

Off the subject. I remember going for a job and a scouser told me that I hadn't passed the test that we took. I had to go to the toilet when the result of the test came out. I nearly walked out and went home, but guess what? I stayed and found that I had passed the said test. I could have lost a job through that scouse pillock. I've never trusted them since!

There's so much wrong with that it's hard to start. For all your "15 inquests", lets just say a line was drawn here www.theweek.co.uk/hillsborough/48981/hillsborough-cover-up-cameron-says-sorry-for-23-years-of-lies In terms of blame and whatever the outcome, the families finally got what they deserved and rightly campaigned for, only a quarter of a century late. Hope you dont lose someone in such circumstances.

If half of the dirty f*****s didn't turn up without tickets this would never have happened A Tory Prime Minister (TORY) said this DAVID CAMERON has issued a "profound" apology to the relatives of the victims of the Hillsborough disaster for the "double injustice" they suffered after an in-depth review of events surrounding the tragedy found that Liverpool fans "neither caused nor contributed to" the tragedy.
Honestly, the news and that is worth watching sometimes.

Yes the very same. The same leader of the party that started the institutionalised cover up, the same bloke who felt the need to say, Liverpool fans "neither caused nor contributed to" the tragedy.
Believe me I hate the Klopp ‘love in’ more than most, Sky Sports coverage in the wake of our bad luck there a couple of months ago was a disgrace and I hated seeing glory hunting bastards in Liverpool tops when I was a kid but this is entirely different.
This is real life and real loss of life, where institutons have failed loved ones and those same institutions have turned on your loved ones and besmirched them to save their own skin.
How the fuck would you feel?

Calling them "The Victims" is so fucking embarrassing, it makes me cringe whenever I read a fellow Stoke fan utter it on here. To think grown men can spout such vitriol wank over the internet saddens me, I am sure if any Stoke fans were involved in a tragedy you would be far more sympathetic or in more emotional terms anyone you were related to or know, you sick bastards

They've been at graft for decades. Hand out. Begging. Scams. Deals. 3-4 decades ago they were intimidating any contractors that dared step on their turf. Perhaps they'd "fall off a building" or "get crippled". Enough to have good honest fellas walk off a job in fear. Insurance scams? You bet. Fraud? Yep. Working while claiming dole? Naturally. Robbing jibbing and thieving all over Europe? Of course. Scrounging, mugging, steaming, stabbing, scarring and wounding with impunity. The ONLY time I've ever had a blade pulled on me at football over 20 years up and down the country involved a scouser. Scousers? I wouldn't piss on one if it was on fire.

But Hillsbrough wasn't their fault. Agreed? I still don't think it's proven either way. The police covered up significant negligence. There were contributing factors. Football culture was different then. SYP could clearly see people needed help. A mob turned up. Drunk and/or ticketless, they contributed to overcrowding. Political correctness and media pressure says SYP must pay. Merseyside milks it. To the death. Murky waters. 50-50? In my honest humble opinion.

Ricky Tomlinson threatened my Grandad (he was a brickie) that if he didn't go on strike they'd beat him up. My Grandad was a bit of a boxer and told him to fuck off. He worked for himself and his family. No cunt told him what to do.
