Just seen the weather forecast for tomorrow. It's pretty windy at the Brit, even on a calm day. 50mph winds are expected when the game is due to start. I remember that a home match against West Brom was called off a while back for the same reason. Very much doubt that it's going to be on, so you may as well buy a kite and do something else instead.

Aguero , yaya, and kompany out tomorrow hart is fit Rate them all - but fantastic news for us. Shawcross has kept Bony quiet before. Excellent news! Three of their four most influential players (Silva the other) not in the team. Erik will need to do a big job on De Bruyne and Whelan must watch Silva's floating presence, but I fancy we could get something from the game.

Result not good but I enjoyed the game last season. We more than matched them for a while and could have seen them off IF we had taken our chances. I was right behind Aguero when he scored out of absolutely nothing - it was a fantastic piece of skill and completely out of the blue. Think it was Milner who made the difference though. They are a team you can play against though so am hopeful but as ever we have to take any chances that come our way.

its great that zabaleta is out as he has a habit of popping up with the odd goal against us

Toure, Although distinctly average at times this season, Still has a knack of scoring against us so great to see him out.

Hope we go with this team tomorrow
Butland Johnson Shawcross Wollschied Pieters Whelan Cameron Shaqiri Bojan Arnie Diouf
Cameron could make a difference in this game and Walters definitely needs a rest.

Not looking good, though at its worst later in the day when forecast is for 70mph gusts, North West Midlands included, enough to bring trees and buildings down! Ek

WATERS is no more than a championship player,no one can fault his running and workrate but he creates little, hes playing up front and has scored twice in 14 league games, why does he play up front we need Diouf Joselu or even Affelay at least he gets forward and has a shot at goal.We need to turn somebody into a striker,we have persisted with SJW for to long.

I think Hughes will pick:
Butland Johnson Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters Whelan Adam Shaqiri Bojan Arnie Walters
Subs: haugaard, affelay, cameron, Wilson, Joselu, Diouf, MVG
I would like to see Joselu start, or even Diouf (even though he looked lost in his cameo last weekend), but I doubt that will happen.
I prefer Cameron coming off the bench if we need more defence. Adam, for me, has been integral in the good run we've had lately, and moves the ball quicker than Cameron.
I think we have a good chance to get something positive from this match.

Checked the tea leaves this morning and it seems Hughesy's going to be cheeky and will be looking to use the wind to our advantage. {No matter which way we face to begin with.} Keeping ball to feet. Some hard calls after the Wednesday game on tuesday.
------------------Butland------------------- ----Bardsley Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters--- ---------------Whelan Adam------------ ------------Bojan Afellay Arnautovic---------- -------------------Diouf--------------------
Haugaard, Shaqiri, Cameron, Adam, Joselu, Walters, Wilson.
Bardsley as free-kick specialist and occasional twatter. Give Johnson a rest, nurture him. The squad is rotational enough to provide pleasant surprises. No need to flog anyone. Bojan licence to roam. Got to have his creative spark on the park for as long as possible. Hughes started Bojan on the right, it offered him a bit more space while he got used to the Prem. Might be worth trying it again. And there's always a chance that Adam might belt one in out of nowt in blustery weather or not.
I might put a quid on Jack Butland first goal scorer..

We are a massive 4/1 to win, even with the players they have missing that looks far too big. They aren't exactly pulling up trees! Confident of a win.

One of the many benefits of our glorious League Cup run is that we have Ryan available for this one, which is a massive relief as I have confidence that we can get a result tomorrow with him in the side. Man City's own defensive talisman is missing in Kompany and we can definitely give their defence the shits if our attackers are on it. 1-1 or 2-1 to us, a wind-assisted goal or 2 would be particularly enjoyable

Thats the starting 11 I would go with as well.Suppose I would take a draw now but with the injuries Man City have got, even though there starting 11, on paper, will look formidable I feel that we are going to beat them.
