I predict the Stoke City Charity Wagon will roll into town for this particular game.
Don't ask me why?

A massive plus if we do go a goal down is we'll have plenty of attacking options to bring on from the bench

This is another 'putting down a marker' game. Last season, we would routinely expect to lose at Southampton and not be surprised if we lost at Sunderland. But we've beaten Southampton at St Marys, something beyond most teams. If we win this one, putting another bogeyman to the sword, we can start to wonder what the potential is for this season: top eight by Christmas?

Er....no he hasn't. 4 goals for Stoke this season That in itself doesn't mean Diouf shouldn't start mind I refer to PL goals - he has 2. diouf has managed 1 more goal while playing more games up front not exactly streets ahead is he.

Don't know but another good stat is Walters so far this season has played total of 16 games for club and country and scored 8! Diouf has played 11 and scored 3 somehow your going to make that into a negative spin towards Walters. [/quote]

I once got off a 24 hour flight and went straight to the Brit to watch us play Sunderland in a snowstorm. It was freezing. Robert Huth got sent off, we lost and then got stuck on the carpark in a blizzard for about 3 hours afterwards. Blackcats my arse. they didn't bring me much luck.

Tough game because I can't see them giving us that much space in their half meaning of we're going to do something we'll have to e patient. We've got the players to do that its just not quite happening at the moment. Maybe tomorrow is the day.
Defoe is bound to score of course though.
